Secane Pizza

The owners are pleasant and want to be sure that you enjoy your meal. I've had cheese steaks and pizza there and found both to be very good.

Food was absolutely horrible. The large pizza is the size of a personal pan pizza even though it says 14 inches it tasted like cardboard. The hot wings were dry and tasteless. For being hot wings I expected to taste something other than breading. I will not be returning to order again. The worst $55 I ever spent.

#1. A large pizza is a small pizza anywhere else in DELCO.

#2. Orders taken over the phone isn't always received as the order was placed. The food is very bland when this has happened.

#3. Last but certainly not least. I witness a customer request that the cook use gloves while preparing her food. The cook got really nasty with her and said they don't use gloves and never will. He asked her was this the first time she'd gotten food from them. When she said it wasn't; she said the prior items she'd ordered was made gloves free, then proceeded to ask her if she wanted the food or not. My issues wasn't the use of gloves or not. It was the very nasty and unprofessional response to the customer in front of other paying customers. I think I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Sadly, Secane Pizza is nothing like it used to be. On November 13 2022 our family ordered three so-called "large" pizzas. All three pies were burnt with barely any cheese or sauce to them. A disgrace, to be frank. For $13 a pop, Secane isn't worth it anymore. A once great pizza joint has gone completely downhill. See pic below - that is an unacceptable pie.

Your best bet if you are in the area is to order from Dino's in Brarciliffe or Double Decker in Glenolden. They make the same New England style. Far superior.

"Small plain pizza well done to go, please"! Actually, I usually order two because one never makes it out of the parking lot. Closed this week for vacation, and it's killing me.

But the also have the best tuna grinder I ever had truth well done guy's.

Very polite and friendly staff. Somehow the small pizzas taste better than the large.
Also, there's no air conditioning if you want to sit in to eat. Better to just take out.

Very rude customer service from young girl just miserable will not be coming back to this establishment & not recommend to anyone there are better places with polite customer service

Nah why does this have 4 stars? The ingredients are old, I have food poisoning on the next day. Gross. And not too clean of kitchen

Secane pizza is one of THE BEST PIZZA SHOPS in Delaware County! Their pizza is a little slice of heaven Their cheesesteaks (both steak and chicken), hoagie, wings and fries are delicious! Their food is fresh and hot. The staff are friendly even when they are CRAZY busy! This is a WONDERFUL family owned business!

Friendly staff. The pizza is ok. The wings are breaded seasoned with a rub and there is no sauce. I prefer naked and sauce. This was my first time there. It would do in a pinch.

Fast and decent service. The owner or manager whoever the woman that does the register with blonde hair is awesome she is a very friendly nice lady and food was exactly what we ordered and good

Always a friendly greeting when you walk in and the pizza is excellent. The pan seems to make the crust a bit lighter so it doesnt weigh heavy in your stomach. Flavors are great, havent had a bad one yet.

Ordered a Secane special pizza which was burnt and inedible.the lady over the phone, probably the one who answers the call was rude and said, that's how they make the the specials, the pizza is stinking of anchovies while i ordered for pizza with no anchovies (for sure they use the same cutting board and knife for veggies and meat and ANCHOVIES, yeah and this pizza has some extra cheese too.only in payment I think the owners has changed or something as I have had better experiences before as a long term resident at Secane. They don't even have a pizza box for delivery, i got the pizza on a paper plate. I paid $18 for this so called 10" pizza with delivery which i had throw away.

Good food, Good service, Good staff. Local Family owned and operated. Been in business since like 1965.

Yesterday was the first time in this magnificent restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last. We had a good time with the attentive service, with the excellent dishes and fine drinks and with the decent cost. We will absolutely visit there soon.

Delivery man starts a fight over Biden sign on front, yelling and ripping his mask off. Horrible service and will never order from again. Maybe think about who you hire.

Never buying from here again. What pizza place's delivery driver walks to you front door. During covid, removes their mask, refuses to put it on. And then proceeds to argue politics with the customer, standing in their doorway. And trying to instigate a fight. If you cant even wear a mask to walk food to the door, you're definitely not taking any precautions when making the food. I wouldnt be surprised if no one there wears a mask. The driver will be "reprimanded" Yea, cause if a grown adult delivering pizzas cant understand to not fight with the customer in the first place, that'll do a lot to change things.
