It's beautiful and has a great park for my daughter to play in with sprinklers in the summer and a wonderful and safe atmosphere

My favorite dog park in Philadelphia with friendly dogs, people and great new turf so no worries about you or pup getting dirty. Great experiences here!

I really really want to like this dog park but 2 out of 2 times I have had bad experiences. The first time a dog kept biting mine (more than puppy bites) and the owner was no where to be found. We ended up leaving although my dog did make some super nice friends. Although, the second visit was especially bad. We went when there were only 10 dogs in the park and a dog named “George” (a golden colored poodle or poodle mix) bit my dog several times. My dog is very submissive so she laid there unsure of what to do. When the owner saw this he just kept saying “George” and did not help to get his dog off of her. When separating George from my dog I quickly realized that if it wasn’t for all her floof (she is a Samoyed) he easily would have punctured her skin. Posting this solely to warn others. I understand things happen but it’s a bigger problem when a dog is getting aggressive and their owner can’t handle them, does not apologize, and stays at the dog park.

In my experience dog owners pay much more attention to their dogs at this dog park versus some of the others. People seem to be mindful of how long they stay during peak hours as well.

Its okay completely fenced in with an extra gate as most dog parks have. For a dog park id give it a 3 star rating but being in philadelphia its definitely nice. Its small with a VERY tiny enclosure for little dogs or little pets. There are benches and a nice pathed area and woodchips and raised beds for the dogs to also jump in

Dog park was well maintained. There were a lot of dogs there, but they all played nicely. Owners were diligent about their dog's behaviour and they cleaned up their messes.

Awesome dog park but it gets no funding from the city, they rely on donations. Always well maintained and filled with happy dogs and great dog owners.

This our dog's and our family's favorite dog park in South Philadelphia. It offers a large, mulched area for dogs to romp off leash and a secure, 2-step metal gate to enter. It's the only dog park we've visited that also has a separate gated area for small or timid dogs to relax off leash. There are free poop bags, lots of trash containers and multiple benches for pet parents to hang out. They even provide tennis balls and ball tossers to use. In season, there is a dog water fountain, and they sometimes run an oscillating sprinkler (our dog was not a fan). The park is free and open to all, but regular users are encouraged to pay a voluntary $50 annual membership fee for park maintenance. The park receives no funds from the city. There is a paid parking garage across the street. The Dog Park is accessible 24/7, but realize that the lighting from the adjacent playground is dim if you visit at night. Children are not allowed in the dog park, but there is an adjacent playground.

Great dog Park overall. Wood chips keep the mud down overall decent condition unless of course it's been raining. Usually friendly group of dogs with occasionally inattentive owners interested more in their phones than their canines. Most do cleanup after their pet and other pet owners are not shy about pointing out The need to clean up after them. Strongly suggest joining the park this place is underfunded but does have some good community support. It's $50 a year and well worth it

Bright, cheery place for kids to play! The small children's area is a great place to take little ones and there is a bathroom onsite and its always clean!

It's a free playground divided into the little ones area and then 5-12 year olds area, a lot of lighting, a basketball court and a very nice doggie park

Great place! Most owners pay attention. Not much space for little doggies. My 22 lb dog held her own. We had fun when some other little guys came. Will be back!

A fun playground with a water element! Located close to lots of cool cultural spots in center city Philadelphia.

We came to Philly for a wedding and stayed at an AirBnB with our 10 month old pup. He had never been to a big city before so was a little overwhelmed and not keen on no grass areas to potty. Thankfully, seger dog park was a couple blocks down the street so we ended up taking him to the park 3 times a day! Really well maintained park and super grateful it was there for out of towners like us to use.

This is a nice family friendly park. The park is split up into a larger area for older kids and a smaller area for smaller kids that has a lock on the gate lol.there is also a place to play basketball and let the dogs play

Unfortunately some of the tennis court users believe that they are the park commissioner or something, but overall nice facilities.

Well maintained kids playground and dog park. Also, 2 separate playgrounds (one for 2 and under & the other for 2+).

The best neighborhood park in the city? Probably. Toddler section, Big kid section, dog run, tennis courts, basketball courts (aka ideal place for your scooter). Just a great park!

The kids love it here. The playground equipment is great, and this is a great spot to spend hours playing with the kids.
