Select Specialty Hospital - Johnstown reviews
5 What can I say about my physical therapy? They have been my rock during my stay at Select Specialty. Jason and his crew, Ashley, Kelly, Tracey and, yes, Danielle were dedicated, hard working, compassionate, encouraging, supporting, and very helpful
trustworthy. I couldn't have done this part of my journey without them. I will miss them the most.
Husband was treated great the staff was tip top great physical therapy and the therapist doctor came everyday explained everything
I have 2 medically fragile boys. We have been in many hospitals in the past. Select Hospital in Johnstown is highly recommended as to the level of care & compassion. Thank you so much. Sincerely from the Pearce family.
Great hospital. Caring individuals. Helped me through me my darkest hours. Great people that work there from nursing aids to nurses to physical therapists to occupational therapists to the nursing students. And let's not forget the respiratory therapists.
Please avoid this place, unless you're able to speak your mind freely! My aunt was placed there, supposedly for physical therapy. Their physical therapy (which she was told is only 10 minutes per day) consisted of them getting her to stand up, turn, and sit in the chair. She was then told the nurses would be back to put her back in bed. Within a few days, she was told she was being moved to a nursing home, but never given an option of which facility. She was simply told she was going. When she asked to go to a facility nearer her family, she was given a list of places and told to find it herself. She is elderly and, obviously, ill. How is she supposed to "find it herself"? They have been less than helpful and incredibly condescending. The only saving grace has been the nursing staff, who have been kind and do well at their jobs. The star rating is for them, not the facility.
