Select Specialty Hospital - Camp Hill reviews
1My husband was a patient at Select Specialty in CampHill. After 82 days there, he unfortunately passed away on March 21st. The doctors and nurses were wonderful with him. They made him comfortable and took excellent care of him not only throughout his stay but also on the day he passed away. They also were very compassionate and caring not only to my husband but also to my daughter, son, and myself. Two negative items, though. One: They need more of the Barton chairs they use for patients. They are falling apart and not safe for the patients. Two: This one is very heartbreaking to me. A family member and her church group had made a special prayer blanket for my husband. The day before his passing, it was taken off him and placed in the closet of the room he was in. Two days after his passing, I remembered that I didn't bring it home. I called the hospital and it was nowhere to be found. I don't want to accuse any staff there, but I believe someone took it. Which is so sad because they had to know that my husband passed away in that room. So sad and painful that this would occur on a very, very sad day for my family.
