Senior Commons at Powder Mill, York PA

I love this community. Whenever I visit I get the most positive responses from the staff. They are compassionate and helpful. You can tell that residents needs are front of mind here. The facility is extremely well cared for and clean. It is well organized and easy to navigate for those with mobility needs. Check it out. You’ll be glad you did.

My 91 year old brother moved to the Senior Commons independent living facility 2 years ago. He has a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment that is spacious and very comfortable. Most importantly he was able to take his cat with him. Both of them seem to love it there. My brother takes part in all of the activities. He enjoys the camaraderie with the other residents and particularly likes the fun they have in the dining room at mealtime. I am extremely satisfied with the experience he has had there. The staff is wonderful and keeps an eye on him. I highly recommend Senior Commons for anyone looking for a friendly new place free of the responsibilities of home ownership. I will consider it myself when the time comes.

Worst place ever I was recently hired there, but missed my orientation because I was in the hospital with horrible food poisoning and she told me that was fine to come back the week later for my orientation I showed up the day she suggested for my orientation arrived.was basically told to leave that they didn’t care I was in the hospital and that I was terminated without even being told I drove all that way I called them for a week straight trying to figure out if I should all come what time to come and they wouldn’t answer me. Woman blocked me the worst experience ever would not recommend going there.
