Serenity Hill Cabins, Cooksburg PA

The owner was very accommodating bringing the firewood to us and fixing the shower promptly when there was an issue with it. He even checked on us the next day when the power went out from the storm. Definitely recommend this place. It was clean and comfortable.

My sisters and I stayed at the Chippewa Cabin for 3 nights. Great location at the top the hill. Lots of privacy. Outdoor burn pit with picnic table. Lots of wildlife in the immediate area. Mainly deer. The cabin has a nice wood stove with enough wood for a day or two. Extra wood is available for a fee. A couch and loveseat. Micro kitchen with table and chairs, sink, stove, fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Dishes, utensils and cook wear are provided, but bring a skillet if you plan to cook breakfast. Small bathroom with sink, toilet and shower, but bring your own towels/ wash cloths. One bedroom has queen bed, second bedroom has two single beds. Pillows and linens are provided. But I’d suggest bringing an extra pillow and blanket during cold weather.
Very cozy. Clean. Within a couple miles of Cook Forest state park and all the great hiking trails. We ate at Cousin Basils, right up the road and it was great! Numerous gift shops, wineries, trading posts nearby. Also a couple different horse riding stables along the same road.

GREAT place to stay, I stay there twice a year and love the place. Peaceful, quite, and the serenity is real.
