Serenity Spa & Massage

This place is an illegal front for massage parlor services that are not legal in the vast majority of the United States. The rates are low because of the additional extras that are non-conforming to human trafficking laws. They tried to steal they tried to steal information they tried to steal information let they tried to steal he deposit when I figured out what this place really was and refused to return the money claiming only a manager could do it in that manager wasn't going to be around for several days. Avoid this place at all costs unless you're trying to solicit misdemeanor charges.

Best place to get a massage and or couples massage! Hands down! The prices are great and the environment is super peaceful. Please go and see for yourself you won't be disappointed

Horrible experience, worst massage ever.did a couples massage. It was extremely rough and abrasive not relaxing at all. I explained to them about how disappointed I was with the service and they insisted they have a policy on a minimum 18% gratuity regardless. I felt 10 times worse then I did coming in. Would not recommend.wish I could give zero stars

Very clean and relaxing day spa. I had a 90 min swedish massage, and my massage therapist truly listened to my preferences. It was the perfect massage for my needs.

Not an expert on massage parlors, but this place is quite nice. Lots of different massage options offered, bottled water afterwards. The massage largely depends on the masseuse, mine was pretty good.

Absolutely perfect! The atmosphere is clean. The staff were friendly, respectful, & very knowledgeable. They have you fill out a consent form. On that form, you also indicate the areas where you are having issues. You proceed to the room. Where you are instructed on what to remove, & where to place your belongings. There’s calming music playing, & the room is set to the perfect temperature. My partner & I did the couple’s massage. I received the hot stone/ Swedish massage. Amazing! Great amount of pressure. The stones were a great temperature. I fell asleep several times throughout my session. My partner received a Swedish massage. He stated that he too enjoyed his massage. Definitely a must if you’re in the Poconos. Just book it.

One of the best places I've been for a massage. They know exactly what your body needs and how to relieve any tension. It was so amazing I went twice in one week for my neck and lower back. These ladies are amazing.

I would not recommend this place. The owner is rude and does not allow tipping directly to the workers. Unprofessional and greedy.

One star bc Atleast my bf got a good massage but the lady who did my massage needs training or a new job. She sucked! I mean I wanted to scream. Then I tried to tell her to massage where it hurts and she kept making smart remarks and laughed and started talking her language with the other lady. Worst couples massage I ever received!

My husband and I did the couples swedish massage. Our massage therapists were amazing. The place was very clean. The beds were heated. They did light stretching throughout. I get massages frequently. This was the best one we have had. Thank you so much to the amazing staff!

My wife and I did a couples massage and it was fantastic. Julia and Olivia were great we thoroughly enjoyed the hour and we will be back. A very pleasant experience from start to finish.

Cindy is an absolute MIRACLE worker! I decided to get a massage while up in the Poconos on vacation. All other places were booked or had a long wait. I called up and the sweet woman at the front told me to come right in for a 90 minute sweedish massage. Since it was spur of the moment, I came with a face full of make up and my hair down. I instantly felt relaxed the second I walked in. Cindy came in and tied up my hair then she worked her magic! Let me just say.it was hands down one of the BEST MASSAGES I've ever gotten from anyone. I get massages a lot and she really knows how to work with your body. After the massage, I felt so fluid and relaxed. Normally massages don't last long for me.whenever I leave them, I feel good for about 48 hours and then my body is back to being tense and in pain. This massage from her left me satisfied for well over a week! I was in awe with how amazing I felt and how long it lasted! This is going to be my go-to place whenever I'm up in Gouldsboro. My husband and I got a deep tissue couples massage tonight, treating ourselves for our 10th anniversary. It was amazing! The ladies were super nice and very professional and their hands worked magic! I have chronic neck and shoulder pain and rarely go a day without at least a baseline of pain but I feel fantastic now. Highly, highly recommend and we'll definitely be going back!

Not a real deep tissue massage. I would not recommend any extended sessions as the time is filled with empty fast superficial rubs as opposed to actually working and massaging the muscles. Asked for a scalp massage and got a noogie instead. Left with my hair in an absolute rats nest. Was also pressured for more money because my tip wasnt acceptable. I left what I thought reflected my satisfaction with the sub par service. I'm not sure where they are trained or certified but I've never had an experience like that. Also, it seems like they dip into the same tub of goo for everyone. Seems a little unsanitary.

Great experience for a great price. Did a Swedish couples message with my boyfriend. Staff was friendly and catered to our preferences! Would go back!

Booked 4 spa appointments 5 weeks in advance. 2 days before arrival the spa called and said they could no longer accomodate the request. At that point I could not book any spa appointments at any other location because all other spas were completely booked. I was very disappointed in this customer service.
