Love this campground. Most 8d the spots are gravel and level. Very clean. Beautiful lake. Easy access to dump stations.

I have a lot to say about this camping trip. I'm sure those that work for the Army Corps are personally wonderful people. However, leadership has fell to the wayside. I've been going to Raystown Lake for 47 years. Never have I been so discouraged as I was this trip. First, grass mowing terrible. Second, bathrooms dirty. Third, campsites lacking stone. Fourth, water hydrants for use that the rules prohibit usage. Five, park rangers writing warnings for people parking where they are supposed to park and pulling in versus backing in, writing warnings for those not having a mooring pass who have their boats parked along the shoreline at the campground. Sixth, stones washed out from rain storm into the roadway causing a hazard for kids on bicycles and people traveling up steep hills with campers. Seven, rodents wondering the campsites, foraging for food at night. Eight, trees that majorly need trimming. Get your act together because you are chasing off the old timers that have helped establish the very foundation the place was built upon and your jobs were created from.

We loved our stay here! The campsites are LEVEL, have nice patio/fire pit areas and a fair amount of space between sites. The bathrooms were nice, showers had plenty of hot water and pressure (until someone flushed). We enjoy hiking and there were plenty of nice trails available. 1000 Steps Trail is challenging but so worth it. We will definitely be back!

I been coming here for about 26 years because of the campsites are well maintained and spacious. But now i am disappointed we can not fill our campers up with fresh water at the sites. We stay Two weeks at a time. No way I am unhooking a 5th wheel to drive back and forth to fill our tanks. We have to manually fill our tanks. For 42.00 and or 46.90 a night we should get water.what's up with that seven points? You went from 5 stars to two stars. Your water cost you nothing

We stayed Thursday through Tuesday the week before Memorial Day weekend. Many activities to do including hiking, walking, paddling, boating, biking and mountain biking. Unfortunately the restroom were poorly maintained. They were not cleaned (and we assume or checked) once during our stay and reached an unsanitary condition.

I had never been to Raystown Lake, and booked a trip on a whim to do some hiking. I was at Senoia site 181. I was pleasantly surprised with the site, view, and bathroom. I probably would not like it as much later in the season with the area being much busier. That said, I liked it enough to book a different site for next weekend!

Awesome place to camp have been staying there for years. Camping is cheap and has electric hookups. Have to fill your water up. Most campgrounds have bathrooms and showers. Some are waterfront sites.
