Sewickley United Methodist Church

Incredible beautiful church full of incredible wonderful people. Pastor Hannah makes me want to go back to church because she relates to people and has such kindness and understanding.

She held a lovely service and the luncheon was delicious and helped by such amazing volunteers who were also kind and very sweet.

SUMC is a fanastic church and Pastor Hannah is such an asset & just incredible human. Will definitely be returning!

I don’t really understand why me being the father of the child in the funeral svc but wasn’t hardly made to feel a part. To start off the memoir paper had my own sons name misspelled twice once on the front then on the back. Along with allowing extra time with the mother instead of me, or the other father, that wasn’t even an option given to us to have more time with the coffin. I guess it speaks miles when the other persons family is paying the bill. The pastor continues to say my sons middle name even tho it’s not his given name. Along with being pushy with prayer at the viewing, I don’t think
I’d ever invite anyone to come here unless you want to be brainwashed to the point of no return. It truly was a one sided funeral svc acting like the other kids fathers didn’t even attend. She even said her husband worked with me so that she’d take personal extra care with me and our situation. I guess In the end
Money Talks, thanks to the kids moms daddy. The extra comments they allowed people to read and say how another man was his father was unacceptable. This is a joke of a church……

As a person who doesn’t do church, Pastor Hannah was an absolutely wonderful person to work with for my children’s funeral, who unfortunately in town had passed away due to a housefire even before that I attended preschool at this church, my brother attended preschool. We were both baptized there they had my grandma Maryanns service there when she passed, and my kids thoroughly enjoyed their pumpkin patches and many of their holiday activities that they had open to the community, weve very lucky to have a church like this and extremely lucky to have Pastor Hannah, who not only is very kind, but honored my children for who they are the names that they went by by their choice and the things that they liked and the beautiful people they were if you are looking for a church in Sewickley, I would highly recommend this one and Pastor Hannah

My friends children were just laid to rest here and the service was beautiful. Everyone I had come into contact with was very nice and understanding in this time. Pastor Hannah was a light. Thank you to SUMC for remembering their lives the way they lived them
