Shake Shack Center City - Rittenhouse reviews
17My new husband and I are out celebrating our honeymoon when we decided to stop here. I had never been here before since I grew up on the west coast. Omg. I got a double Burger with pickles and DANG! In-n-out better WATCH OUT! This burger is something I could write home about. I had such a lovely time waiting for the rain to pass while casually enjoying the best Burger I've had in my life. If you're on the fence about going, just go.
After picking up my food I was 30 minutes into traffic when I decided to eat my bacon cheese fries before they became cold. Turned out the restaurant gave me plain fries. So I turned around, I was stuck in traffic anyway. When I arrived back to the restaurant and explained they attempted to hand me a side of cheese and bacon bits. I requested new fries because they were cold at this point. The workers immediately caught an attitude treating me as though I was being unreasonable. It was a simple request due to their mistake. I found it very distasteful for the lack of customer service. It's a shame too. I rarely go to Shake Shack and this is what happens. The food is good, but the service could improve.
A wonderful burger experience and French fries for us French "frenchies" who need to say that we are flexitarian in front of our friends!
Personally, say it.cheese-e burger.
Everything was delish! The tech updates are cool. I can order and wait for a text to let me know my order has been completed. Staff are respectful, though they can be unprofessional when communicating amongst themselves while in the eye and ear range of customers.
Their hamburgers are all that you check it out you should go there to get their hamburgers out there very good there a good
Love Shake Shack. Fast service, could tell the staff wanted to go home but it was late so that's understandable. Other than that I only have positive things to say.
Really good burgers. Really its just a shake shack burger. You get what you pay for. Not too packed but the food may take up to 10 minutes to be ready. Great milkshakes tho
Waited about 30 minutes for a couple burgers with a big line of people, so it wasn't just us. They kept messing up every order, so every order had to be fixed, which is why it was taking so long
The employee at the register was wearing his mask around his chin, while doing food prep, and had his nose uncovered
Picking up an online order should be easier, they have chaotic pick up lines, you have to walk back out the way you enter being close to other people, they still have a winter door up as of last week when it was 60 degrees and that was just another nuisance. They should have doors propped open and one line to enter one to exit!
We stopped here for a quick lunch. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and we did not have to wait very long. The floor could have been cleaner.
Thank you to Nichole at the front for excellent customer service! Our order got messed up and she was so professional and helpful with fixing it.
Took them 40 mins to make fried chicken that tasted worse than poached chicken. They deserve a prize for pulling that off.
Edit: the burger was really nice. This time it didn’t take long either.
Recent visit (Apr 2021) to shake shack shook up my sweet shake sensations. Horribly over sweet. Wasn’t as balanced as expected. I have a sweet tooth, mind you, and even I found the shake and concrete too much. Never again.
Zero for costumer service, I understand the place is closed for dine-in and there are rules and regulations in place, I myself work at a restaurant that’s only open for takeout. But to deny a 9month pregnant woman from using the bathroom is just inhumane. The girl at the door was sympathetic but her male manager came to tell me no. The company needs to teach male workers discrimination against women.
Great food cooked well. Service was great. Covid-19 safety protocol set up ok not the best it is ok outside dining on a nice day is great. And online ordering is the best really no wait
I tried this spot in the past with a friend and I am hooked since then. I loved the awesome ambience and tasty dishes and beverages.
Hey shake 20th shack. Thanks for making the change to directing customers to two different sections. But they are all from one entrance. Order & pickup. However, even though you have a different door further south, you receive both new orders and pickups from the same door. This crates a bottleneck since covid. Did you see my rating for the 3300 chestnut SS branch? They have separate windows for ordering & pickups. You guys still have one door for both. I suggest you use your southern door for online/pickup and maintain the main door for new orders.
