Shakespeare's Restaurant & Pub reviews
23The food was just "ok". Definitely not as good as I remember it. Also, if you're a vegetarian, do NOT go here. You'll only get to choose between 3 pasta dishes, with no special requests. However, our server was great and very attentive. Bottom line, not worth the money any more.
Heard about this place from a lot of folks, finally got to make the trip from Pittsburgh. What a great experience! From the exterior aesthetics to the ambiance inside to the delicious food at our table, even my 14 & 17 year olds loved the entire experience. Our service was wonderful and we couldn't have left any happier.
I went here with my family because my nephew is thinking about getting married here. It is a nice place. The food is very good and the owner walked around asking for input on the food. The wait staff are awesome. It was a nice evening out.
The food was fairly mediocre and the staff had a hard time adhering to the mask policy. There were clearly signs at the entrance stating that all guests must wear a mask upon entering. Meanwhile the manager was walking around with his mask under his chin, coming in close contact with the food and the guests of the establishment. Other guests walked around without masks on and the staff did not enforce any rules or regulations. The place was over 50% full, in fact it was almost 90% full, clearly defying the 50% capacity limit for restaurants in the state. I felt uncomfortable and the food was bland, mushy and overpriced.
This place is truly amazing food is delicious and I would have to say one of the coolest castles in this area
Disappointed Not that it was bad but not as good as I expected based on the reputation. Service was great though
Picturesque Pristine Peaceful Place to sit back and enjoy nature at its best. Dine on some scrumptious food made with great love as it tastes wow! I ate pineapple and walnut salmon, it was delicious! The gift shop is worth a visit while you are there.
Service was fantastic. Man at the door was rude and needs to dress better. Room was to small to accommodate the party of 25 people no air stuffy and crowded. All food and beverages are overpriced and people paid for what they expect to get. Food on the other hand was very good. Felt that they were a bit racist. Need to do a little bit better.not in a hurry to go back not recommend to others.
Food is excellent & so was the service! Just walking through the building is an experience ad the castle craftsmanship is beautiful. Great place to play golf too!
Excellent food, beautiful venue! I look forward to coming back in November for my granddaughter's wedding reception!
Food here was really good. Great atmosphere and friendly service, we had to wait a while for our food.
Delicious food served inside a luxurious castle. The atmosphere delivers an authentic medieval setting. Don't miss this opportunity if you are nearby.
The Sunday brunch was nice with a good variety of food. The service people were attentive and very polite.
Very medieval setting. Amazing decorations. Great food. Themed menu. Love going here with my family.
Went for a fund raiser. The food was good and staff was polite and efficient. Set on a beautiful golf course and full bar downstairs if you opt for a drink. Wonderful setting for any function.
All around terrible. Our work Christmas luncheon was a bust. Our party of 27 didn't care for the food and the service was worse. The grumpy old man at the door needs to retire.
This was a really nice looking place. I love the how the place is decorated with wood and the host and waiters are very friendly. And will go out of there way to serve you. I will go back again! I just wish the bar area was closed of from dinning room area because the live music was very loud. I was glad when it was over.
Unique setting and amazing food
Another visit want so fortunate. Food was good, as usual.
But it was about 80 degrees in the dining room and very humid. Unexcusable.
Our waitress, while friendly, was fairly incompetent. Water glasses sat empty for over half an hour.
Had dinner there with family.
Veal prepared WWAAYY too salty.
On the rib dinner, ribs were tough. The salad crisp but mundane.
Good food. They could have chose a more fitting band for St Patrick's Day. It said live entertainment at the bar, completely unfitting probably the worst choice they could have made lol.
