Shalom Pizzeria reviews
18 I ordered falafel in a pita, and received a good falafel but a quarter of Mt pita was empty.
Accept of that all was fine, and I will come again if I will be in the area.
This place is a small hidden gem in Philly. Their pizza is delicious. You must try out their crunchy fries- the best I've ever tasted.
Cramped space, ok food, ordered a veggie pizza, veggies were barely cooked. Ok, but no love added to the recipes.
Throwing a few hot peppers onto a pizza and calling it “Mexican” is pretty insulting…and I’m not even Mexican.
We called 40 minutes before closing to order 2 pizzas, and they rudely refuse the order saying it wasn't enough time. What kind of incompetent pizza place needs 40 minutes to make a plain pizza? It's a pizza restaurant! That's the main thing they do!
That fish and chips that was supposed to be a sandwich looked so bad my camera wouldn't even take a picture. $18 wasted
Decent food. Wait time is a bit long so it's best to order ahead. Small store so it's probably best to eat at home. Nice selection and good food
I don't know why all kosher dairy places are the same: an overworked, (possibly) underpaid lone employee manning the front, yelling broken Spanish to the workers in the back, but it is what it is. We called to ask if we could order some food to pick up and he just said "No, sorry" and hung up the phone.
I called back a few minutes later and reiterated, and he put our order together.
The food was actually pretty good. I have only ordered from here once before, years ago, and it was awful. I was told they're now under new management, so we gave it a shot and, after the initial rudeness, had a decent experience. I know it's not easy to work in kosher food (I did so for eight years in NYC), but come on.
Food was ok but way over priced.
The owner/employee Gaby was mean and rude. Avoid this place.
Stay away!
I’m giving this 4 stars in terms of quality, but in terms of convenience you can’t beat this place, which specialises in fast-casual Kosher Pizza in the Wynnewood, Bala-Cynwyd area. The easiest meal you’ve ever had is always just a dial of the phone away and barely a dent in your pocket. Great for parties, events, no-time-to-cook meals, or just a dairy craving. In terms of personal recommendations, I prefer their white to their traditional pizza, and their Turkish burekas are pretty good, especially the mushroom and spinach.
Excellent pizzeria! Friendly service, delicious food and desserts. Very family friendly place as well.
Just found this place it has great good. I ordered the personal pizza and cheese fries and both were delicious. When I come back to Philly i would like to try out more items on the menu which looked good.
We had an excellent time at this place. We loved the excellent ambience and the meals. The staff members were super attentive. I’m happy we finally managed to eat here.
I was here to try Italian food for the first time and I must say the food was delicious. I really love the pizza and salad
I arrive at this outstanding place from time to time because I enjoy the special atmosphere that is unique to this place. The crew is exceptionally helpful and professional. The service is exceptionally efficient. Needless to say, the food they serve is highly distinguished. I came more than once and I was always pleased. The cost is fair. I suggest this place to all my friends.
A unique pizza flavor!
The spicy fries are just seasoned fries similar to that of rally’s or checkers.
Basic marinara sauce.
Would absolutely recommend eating here. Great character, tasty dishes, excellent service. Great work.
