This place is a great lunch stop. I love the deli that makes food for you right in the back. I DO NOT LIKE the customer service here. There’s a few nice staff, by that I mean 1 or 2 of the female employees. But the other people…just horrible customer service. The food is good, but everything has an onion flavor and you’ll smell like one when you leave lol

These people are the most humble family oriented service you could find in Newport.this is a landmark it's a small-time deli convenience store that make exceptional sandwiches and offer even more exceptional service.if you pick Sharar's grocery you didn't go wrong

This place has absolutely wonderful service and great subs. Decent prices on tobacco prices compared to a lot of other stores. And i always seem to find a little gadget or gizmo thing that's totally unnecessary but totally cool. Sometimes, there's a bit of a wait but never more than 5-10mins max, and it's always worth it. Very large sandwiches stuffed for the price. Definitely recommend. And for the reviews that give less than 3 - well, obviously, those are more personally biased against a paticular for no real good reason.look at the reveiws surrounding those ones.

Good morning to everyone. I went to this store to go for subs and lunch meats and I was never so disgusted with the service and the man making the subs. He had very long hair and did not have his hair in a hair net or nor was his hair in a ponytail. It was just hanging over this subs he was making and that was gross and The service was absolutely Horrible this time i have to think twice again before I go there thanks jim Grant.

Nice older store with reasonable prices on deli. My mom loves seasonal cheese homemade spread. I personally don't receive the other overly friendly reviews service. Maybe I'm not a "regular. " The young lady at the deli couldn't had been anymore displeased in her demeanor, as I asked for only a half pound of cheese spread. She hastily put together a half lb in a separate container, lid splitting open on top and spread pushing out on side. There was no one else at the counter waiting, so I don't understand the kurt, short tempered attitude. As usual from me though, I respond with yes ma'am, and thank you, and really appreciate, etc etc. Had my mom not want the seasonal cheese spread, I'd have no reason to darken their doors. Just speaking for myself of course.

Friendly, polite employees and owners. Good prices and deli foods are great. I love their coffee.

Was not friendly poor service lunch meat in all 3clear bags were opened really iratateing.

Best little store around. They make great subs, lunch specials are also great and we're keeping it in the community. Love it.

I live the subs you get from this store. Everytime they have been fresh and tasteful.
The one in the picture is a chicken salad sub with everything. The price is really good as well.
