Shawnee Optical - West Erie

Update: This company decided to have the same sales associate call and harass me because I Left a bad review. Nothing like bothering people after they have already spoken to you and you made it clear there was nothing you could do. Do better Shawnee Optical.

How do you not tell someone who pays almost 300$ after insurance that scratch proof lenses are not really scratch proof and even though you paid for the coating it's not covered if it scratched. My advice go somewhere else because this company doesn't care about it's patients

Glasses turnover times are incredibly slow. Went in over a month ago to get my lenses replaced which were under insurance warranty that I purchased. A few weeks passed and I hadn’t heard anything so I called. The process hadn’t even begun because no one told me they needed my frames but yet no one called me about that either. So here we are two weeks later after bringing my frame in and I still haven’t gotten a call back and I’ve desperately needed those glasses now for over a month. Glasses are kind of important. A month+ turnover time is pretty bad. My other experiences with Shawnee were similar so I wont be returning. If you need promptness, go elsewhere.

Great experience at Shawnee Optical. I was able to visit with the Doctor, get fitted for contacts, and order a pair of glasses in less than an hour. They said the estimate for the glasses to arrive would be 7 to 10 business days. I picked them up today which was less than a week from my original appointment. Katie was super friendly and helpful she pointed out a chip in the frames and ordered a new pair for me right away. I didn't even ask. Great customer service. I highly recommend.

Everyone was friendly and efficient. My glasses were done much quicker than anticipated and I love them.

Staff is friendly and professional. My first visit, they answered all of my questions and helped me through my appointment with ease.
