I watched machine gun preacher five times. I wish there was a lot more people like Sam the movie was so sad I just wonder why people have so much hate in them instead of getting to know people and respect people, and to treat people the way they want to be treated. It is not hard to treat people with kindness. It’s not hard to give, and it is not hard to love the different nationalities. If you have God in your heart, it should not be hard.
I watched Machine Gun Preacher and it was eye and heart opening! Not only does the movie have a greater picture message but there ARE messages for individuals who watch it! Mine was the part where the child who had poured a hot beverage accidentally on Sam: s arm and he pushed child back angrily, the child then later in the movie sat next to Sam on Sam's bed and told Sam his story about being made to kill his own mom and my message " If we allow ourselves to be full hate then they're gone, you must not let them take your heart! I cried through this movie, so many have no clue what is happening in Sudan! Also when I saw Sam and Lynn were from around Johnstown, PA that touched my heart deeply as I lived in Johnstown for 1 year as a baby in 1972-1973 right at the top of the Incline Plain and then moved to Indiana, PA from1973-1976 and then to Loretto, PA in 1976-1985, I now live in MN so to see the fellowship church in Harrisburg warmed my heart. I want to Thank you for your church, thank for your plight and actions about most of all.thank you for the movie that I "randomly" or "coincidentally" watched I did not even watch the trailer-10+Stars!

Sam and Lynn i feel so proud of you for the great work and wonderful things you still doing for those people and children in Africa.
I'm live in Georgia and i will take my time to visit the church and meet you also too you guys.probably i will stop by on middle of July of this year 2022 and i also have all the info. About the church.
