Shep's Yard -- Landscape Supply, Phoenixville PA

In May we ordered a few yards of top soil/mushroom compost mix, along with mulch & stone. Was VERY pleased with the mulch & stone, however we were VERY disappointed with the dirt. We chose the top soil/mushroom.compost mix option (higher priced = better quality) as we were doing a new vegetable garden and expanded our butterfly garden, but what we received was anything but high quality. It is so full of rocks & pebbles and is so light gray color- doesn't look like mineral enriched top soil/mushroom compost at all. Will not be ordering dirt from them again - it's too important of a factor when gardening.

Priced out yardage of screened soil and Sheps Yard was the cheapest I found. I love that they advertise the price clearly on their site. Delivery was easy, well done and they called ahead as promised. Highly recommend.

I was mislead by one of the Office Ladies, then delivery was incorrect based on the conversation. They declined to correct there error and blamed me for the it. Very unprofessional operation

Customer service is top notch! They definitely are after a happy customer. Unfortunately, despite their efforts to make it right, I bought pretty bad firewood from them and even the “replacement” wood they gave me was pretty bad. It’s wet, sizzles and the water comes out of the wood while it’s burning, you can feel it on the wood. I have used fatwood and kindling (supplied by them) and even an entire fire starter log and can barely get this wood to burn. It’s been in my garage and stacked outside, covered during rain only, for weeks and still can’t get it to burn. Better double check the wood before buying. Again, customer service was very nice but I’m stuck with 1/4 cord of wood I can barely burn.

I get EVERYTHING from these guys! And by that I mean amazing products AND service! From awesome seasoned firewood (witch is our sole source of heat for the entire house), to flagstone, screenings, mulch, and vegetables they have it all! Always delivered where I need it. Amazingly accommodating even in their busiest of seasons! Why would you go anywhere else?

I absolutely ABHOR businesses that does not allow returns UNDER ANY CONDITION. Especially when you are competing with big box stores. I will not be going back there because of that - it shows a lack of integrity in my book. If you can calculate precisely how much material you will need then it's a wonderful place to do business with. They are friendly and offer impeccable service.

I've ordered their mulch twice this spring. Good prices on quality mulch. Delivery was a snap! Plus, it was delivered on time and placed right where I wanted it! The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and so nice to deal with!

Great delivery! Andrew delivered our cord of wood exactly where we asked. He even took the time to pickup the stray logs that fell away from the pile.

I just had mulch delivered to our house. First class delivery service! I asked the driver if he could drop the mulch in a tight area, and not get any on the grass. Not a easy task. He went as far as getting out of the truck, placing down some old boards to keep it in line with the driveway. You could not have better service! I'll be a customer for life.
