Shohola Falls Trails End reviews
6 We have been in Trails End for 2 years. Friendly place with 3 beautiful pools! Snack bar well worth the prices. Lots of activities both for children and adults offered. We love our little home away from home! Our happy place. Our campsite in the woods.
One negative: There are "many" abandoned parcels.
Don't property owners care to maintain them, if they own a piece of the Poconos?
If not, sell, so someone else can enjoy Trails End.
Well the setting is beautiful. Service was sparse. They advertise on local radio and they don't give an accurate view of themselves. The very small menu did not give many options. We will not waste our time or money there again!
Used to be SO MUCH BETTER. Slowly all the things that made this place great is DIMINISHING. No kitchen past 4pm all the kids activities seem too fill instantly so unless you live here in the summer, forget joining in anything. What are the increases in dues for because the place is falling apart? The deck by the pool is chipped way past repair and looks as if it will need complete replacement due to neglect. Nothing looks upgraded, in fact the big pool has fungi growing in it!
Too many people are renting out the place off of airbnb and other sites. You can tell by the vandalism that's been popping up. I love being here but mainly on my site now.
We just moved into our home away from home. All the employees have been so nice and accommodating. Even our neighbors that we met are good people. You purchase the land that the house sits on. It is not a lease. The taxes are minimal. The HOA covers the electric, water, and plowing. There are two downfalls you have to take your household garbage to a dumpster, and some of the properties are not maintained. I give five stars to all the employees.
Came here every summer during my childhood as my family has property on this land. I will be returning next month after a few years away. So exciting! Great place - love trails end
