SHOP 'n SAVE, Pittsburgh PA

They have different options from other Shop N Saves in the area. The employees are friendly and it's a positive shopping experience.

Hood grocery store, avoid check days. Still lacking additional staff, but not their fault. GM appears to be trying, all you can ask.

Bad store bad customer service. Aisles congested. Very little room in store to move around. Employees asked about products had next to know knowledge about products. Check out lines were long and slow, multiple times the cashier had trouble scanning my item and had to call for help. The whole time chewing her bubble gum loudly with an attitude of complete indifference. Not to mention there atrocious parking lot.

Very crowded, when asked if they could open a other register they told me they didn't have any more just 3. After another 10 minutes low and behold another cashier appeared. Don't care much for this store. Also had another incident with my service dog there.

Shop 'n Save is a great store wit amazing deals and even better when they have their weekly sales going on!

I like the traditional grocery store vibe. Prices are good, not great, but a lot of the time you can find good sales. The workers are nice enough, mostly. Love the deli. Customers can be entertaining occasionally, but mostly its a good neighborhood store.

Could use some upgrades like every other Shop n Save. Machines go down often and won't accept cards. Keep cash on you just in case.

I was shopping at shop n save in Carrick/Mt.oliver on Tuesday at 4: 30 pm. Found all I needed and was in and out!

I was impressed with how clean, organized, and had security there for protection. I'll be going back as closer to my home.

Good sales and even restocked things they were out of in the beginning of sale. Cashiers always friendly and helpful.

Outstanding staff & excellent variety. The dollar aisle is well stocked. Meat & produce are always very good. Go early if you can & beat the crowds. Dave retiring & we will miss him for sure.

Fine for a quick stop for milk, but there is not a large selection of grocery options. It's a small neighborhood store so that's to be expected. Cashier lines are almost always long and slow moving. Staff is usually unfriendly, with a few cashier exceptions.

The place is a joke. They can't control theft so no one's allowed to wear backpacks yet women with purses bigger than a backpack have them wide open in their carts. They're so quick to nab someone with a backpack, maybe put that energy into loss prevention. Maybe also figure out what time you're going to open for the day and let your staff know before telling someone over the phone you open at 7 and then when I get there you tell me 8!

Very crowded this morning. Big sale: bread for 25¢, avocado 88¢ per, ice cream sandwiches$2.50 for box of 12.

It's an ordinary supermarket filled with ordinary produce. The most exotic fruit you'll find in the produce section is a pineapple. The neighborhood has a large Asian population and it would be nice for everyone to see a wider selection of fruits and vegetables.

Horrible prices for a so called "affordable" store. Target and Giant Eagle are cheaper.

An OK grocery store. They now have a fuel perks program which is a nice addition given the price of gas. On the topic of price, one needs to educate oneself on prices. I have found that Shop n Save is not always the cheapest. One also needs to be sure to check the expiration date as I have found a number of products very close to their expiration date on the shelves.

This is the first time that I have shopped at a Shop 'n Save. While some of the items are less expensive than Giant Eagle for example, others are more expensive. A can of cat food cost me 10 cents more per can at Shop 'n Save than at Giant Eagle. The brand of soup that I like, however, was a dollar less at Shop 'n Save.

Great family oriented grocery store. The cashiers have been working at the same location for years so everyone is like family. Wide selection of name brand groceries and their store brand (Essentials). They have 3 day sales on deli meat and cheeses which draws a large crowd due to the low prices. Also can purchase stamps, money orders and bus passes.

My favorite place to shop for food. Its mind boggling knowing people give Giant Eagle more business than Shop & Save. Shop & Save always offers great sales that don't break the bank. Giant Eagle? Well I guess it dont matter for so many when shopping is free to them.
