ShopRite of Drexeline reviews
20I’ve shopped at various Shop Rites in NJ and PA but this one right hereeee is by far the best Shop Rite/ I’m going out of my way to keep coming here/ Clean, bright and inviting-you’ll actually want to really take your time in this one/ They even have hard to find products and an awesome staff/
I'm in love. The best shoperite in our neighborhood. Wide selection. Great friendly staff. Well organized.
Grand Opening! I went to check out the new grand opening of our new Shoprite. The other one was so old, Iam glad that they decided to remodel and upgrade places up here. Place was clean and meats are fresh, tons of produce to choose from. Love the hot /prepared food side after I finished shopping I bought food and sat and waited for my Uber. Good for people who work in the area and need a quick bite.
Shop Rite deli. If you are Muslim, Jewish or just don't eat pork
You must ask them to clean slicers before cutting your meat.
They cut pork and beef on same machine without cleaning or wiping. And get an attitude when you ask. Some of them not all.
You would know who.
Tracey, Alan, Rahmir & Tom were stellar representatives of the kind of service that makes shopping a pleasant experience. They were a happy team and each one pitched in to solve the mystery of whether pepperoni was salter than salami. Way to go guys, keep up the good work.
I came to Shop Rite with a request for catering services. Mr. Kevin Alexander exemplified the highest level of customer service with his great skills, patience, kindness and diligence to his profession. He should be awarded employee of the month in the food services department. He assured me that he would provide everything I needed for my son's football team dinner on Friday, September 22,2023. He exceeded that and more by answering all of my questions, delivering my food on his day off, his timeliness, accuracy of pricing, recommendations and organizing his staff to deliver top notch customer service. He drives your food service department with his professionalism, he works hard to meet the customer's needs, he is knowledgeable about the department and an excellent listener. He knows his job very well and we need more people like him to excel in customer service. He is truly an asset to Shoprite of Drexeline in Drexel Hill, PA. He deserves 10 stars from me, employee recognition and the employee spotlight! All of your employees have great service but he is exceptional!
Brand new store with all the bells and whistles and a very responsive customer service email with requests for new products. Spacious and easy to navigate. Thank you!
Bad experience! Hot food was advertised at 7.99 a lb. It had one big size and nothing smaller btw. Got to the register it was rung up at 9.99 a lb. I paid $21for food that was under cooked and bland. Had multiple problems before I even got rung up I had to switch registers twice due to the inconvenience of the staff due to other customers having false advertising problems as well. Need to step it up or I will not be back again. I have never paid $34 just to get some lunch for work
The store is recently built so I think give it some time to see how it really falls out. The parking lot is nice and the store is massive. There’s a balcony when you can see all of the store while eating on some tables they’re eating tables outside of the store, it’s a pretty nice place and they seem to be on top of things in terms of filling up the shelves which is my job and in a third-party company that I’m work in.
I can confidently say that the ShopRite is better than every ShopRite in Delaware combined. Besides the nice and responsive staff place didn’t feel like a dump is felt properly taken care of but then again, it’s still new as of 2023 September.
Love the new store. Big and beautiful. Prices have all gone up assuming to pay for the new construction. Workers are happy and friendly this week. I hope they keep it cleaner than the old store which was always a mess. Caution: prices at register sometimes ring up higher than what's on the shelf! I bought stuff because of the low price then got home and looked at the receipt and was shocked. Not a big fan of digital coupons. What about the elders who don't have cell phones and those who don't want a shopping store app on phone? Grapes 00.88 cents a pound unitl you realize you need the digital coupon. Yikes!
The new store is large and very well laid out. The parking lot is a bit restrictive and small.
Shoprite has and always will be a Wonderful grocery store. Just moved here from CT and it's a perfect store no matter where I am. This New Shoprite Has A Beautiful Ora Polite, Respectful, Helpful Staff Great Prices Definitely Worth the Wait
I shopped at the new Shop Rite. This shopping trip was a week after its grand opening. Huge new store, and I thought the selection was very good. There was especially a good selection on seafood! I wish Shop Rite had the Boar's Head brand of meats, like pork and beef as well, but that's my only complaint on selection. I was confused about some of the sales. I did not get as many discounts at the register as I thought. What was really on sale was confusing to me. What was on sale was mixed in the food aisles with everything else that was not on sale. I was also annoyed at how little is discounted on Shop Rite's Price Plus card. I think the Bowl and Basket brands are reasonably priced, but I wish there were several more discounts on anything that's not the Shop Rite brand.
Great store! I just don’t understand people giving negative reviews because they closed to build a new store from the ground up! Some people are total idiots.
They closed all the regular registers and refused to check me out with my WIC card (cannot be used at self checkout) when literally everything in my cart was for my daughter who was with me (15mo). I work late hours and am not able to go food shopping during early store hours. They had an employee running self checkout and beer/wine who just flat out said no. I had to leave my cart and go home. Regardless of self checkout, at least one register should always be open for people like myself and those who are handicapped. Pure laziness and a disgrace. Especially for a brand new store.
Store just reopened and it is really nice! Bought a slice of pizza for my daughter and myself and it was delicious! The food court looks and smells great with some Asian food, chicken, soup, to premade meals! Definitely worth checking out and will be back to try some of the other things they have to offer!
New store is well lit and nicely stocked.
But.
1) Digital Coupons just don't work. It happened on 2 separate shopping trips. Loaded digital coupon at home and at store. It is a hassle to go to Customer Service to fix it. Who has time for this?
2) Also, no cashiers at times and customers are forced to use self check out. There should be a cashier at all times.
Do a lot of my shopping here with my mother in law it’s her favorite it’s cool place to shop I love the sushi that’s made ready to go. I’d go just for that
A very poorly run and managed Shoprite in comparison to my former Shoprite in upstate New Jersey. First - out of stock sale items. Second - poorly trained workers. Third - a foul smell of rodent urine throughout the store and I also spotted rodent droppings on the shelves to prove my point. Fourth - tags missing from products. Fifth - outdated products on shelves. Sixth - trash on the sales floor. Seventh - employee foul language on the sales floor. Eight - trash in the shopping carts. Ninth - no management directory as I did not even know who to ask for to make a complaint about a problem. When I asked for a manager I was told to ask for a Timothy Brown in a sarcastic manner as the employee bad mouthed him to me as this shows no respect or moral in this workplace. Tenth - lack of variety of brands. And finally number Eleven - I winded up purchasing some items items in here (which I should have not done) as two of the items scanned at a wrong price as listed on the tag. The old saying is 3 strikes and your out and this here is 11, beyond pathetic! This store should NOT even be allowed to operate under the Shoprite name. They are actually constructing a new store which is a joke. It should just close down for good. I would NEVER shop here again as it is back to Giant or the high priced Acme store!
Favorite ShopRite to shop at near my home. It’s always fully stocked and the lines are rarely long.
