Shorty's Lunch, Washington PA

Food was amazing, service was good, and it was really entertaining to see the Three Blind Mice cook my fries! Even though there were like nine of them and they were rats, 5 stars!

Very nice and fast service, pricing is very cheap. But you get what you pay for. The burgers are super thin and tiny. They also don’t have cheese in the restaurant.

Table service was a tad slow but we made it through alright. The gravy was piping hot, too hot! By the time the gravy cooled down to where you could tolerate it, the fries without gravy on them were cold.

I was turned away at the drive through at 6: 50pm during the week because they closed early. Apparently the drive thru window must also be broken since it couldn’t even be opened as a courtesy to speak to me face to face. I was reading lips and watching hand gestures meaning “closed” that the girl was making at the window while I was reading the paper that was posted right next to her stating the hours were until 7 Monday- Saturday and closed on Sunday. She proceeded to tell me they don’t get the business so they decided to close early… Not really sure that the 10 minutes is really going to cut down on labor cost or expenses. But I notified the second customer pulling in the lot as I left that they were closed as well. She was less than impressed herself. …. So congrats on turning away money and business, from not just one but 2 people especially right now. Guess I will give my money to a chain restaurant tonight since I couldn’t be served during POSTED business hours here.

Food is amazing, service was great, food came to our table under 5 min. Amazing place to grab a good priced hot dog or burger.

You remember lunch time in grade school? Simply burgers, dogs & fries. With a couple other school house favorites. Good eats if your looking fast and simple. Great place for picnic food

I have been going to Shortys uptown since I was a little girl. Love Shortys! Great family business and great people. Food is awesome! My cousin Mary, born and raised here in washington, lives in Texas.when she comes home.shortys is one of her first stoos.

This place is a Washington living legend. I am 66 years old and have loved this food since I can remember. I've enjoyed two with everything, gravy fries and chocolate milk at the downtown, Wolfdale and Washington mall (when the mall was still open) locations. I moved to DFW Texas many years ago but always do Shorty's when I visit. This is the best hotdog in the world bar none!

Love this place! Hot dogs are the best! I always get 2 with everything and fries with gravy. They have never changed, always delicious!

Absolutely love this place hotdogs are fantastic and they come out fast as hell so does the french fries and gravy at a very affordable price surrounded by good people with good parking can’t beat it if you’re looking for a small spot with a big appetite and you’re craving some hotdogs
