Shorty's Lunch, Washington PA

My family has been going here for years. This year was my first time ever having Shortys. After my first bite of an everything dog I knew I would become a loyal patron. I frequently order from the downtown location (once or twice a week). Fresh quality food made with a passion and love in every bite. Hands down my favorite lunch spot! Incredibly friendly staff make the experience even better. Thanks for all your work.

I'm 63 the last time I was at Shorty's was when I was 11 there food was Delicious then and still is.

Cons: Hot dogs taste like they were cooked in the morning and just microwaved, no cheese for burgers
Pros: Fast service, lots of condiments, good fries

Just stopped at Shorty’s to pick up a few hotdogs can’t go without Shorty’s hotdogs so remember everybody that it’s our local business that needs our support so stopping in to get a few hotdogs to go.

Old school chili dog. Everything gets you chili, mustard and onion. Large soda with a refill! Been here before, I'll stop again! Reasonable.

Downtown favorite! Limited menu of classics: Burgers and dogs with their own special chili sauce and onions. F-A-S-T Service with a smile + cheerful heart since the 1930's ️

Really good and cheap American food. Their hot dogs and fries with gravy are absolutely phenomenal. Staff is nice and quick. It is a must see place while on your trip to Washington PA, it has been in the city for ever. I highly recommend this place.

My great great grandfather went here every day after school when he was growing up; eating here runs in the family. My entire family has been coming here all my life. Always amazing service and always warm welcoming comfort food.

Shorty's is the best place to get great hot dogz.it is a place that has been in Washington for a long time.it's not very big.but it's worth going too. I recommend it n give it 5 Starz.

Unimpressed.cheap generic hot dog & canned gravy. I have had better hot dogs at dairy queen.very disapointed.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. We arrived around 11: 30 am with 4 grandkids. Short wait due to busy time which I would rather see than no one there! Some ordered breakfast, some ordered lunch. Everything was great! No complaints! Thank you!

The service was excellent. Fast and efficient. The waitress knew we were in a hurry and ask us if we needed to go cups. And the hot dog and fries were good. Thumbs up.

It is local history we have 5 generations that have enjoyed the wonderful hot dogs, burgers, and fries with gravy. Just miss the coke products.

Shorty's is a nostalgic diner. I took my 72 year old mom there and she talked of times there as a teenager, and a hotdog was a quarter. Great food, a small menu, and quick friendly service.

The hotdogs and gravy fries were amazing. The menu is really small so I come here strictly for the dogs. The food and service is great. Can only seat about 20 people so get here early.

Been coming here since I was a little kid. Always have to come in for 2 chili dogs, 1 ketchup and mustard dog, and gravy fries when I visit family. Hasn't changed in 30 years for me.

Very fast, good food, great service. The original Shorty's Lunch hot dog shop still striving in downtown Washington, PA. The food is a great deal, tasty, and comes out incredibly fast. You have to try the fries with gravy and a hot dog. None of the food comes with cheese, but at a place as good as this, that is fine. Stop in. It will be a quick visit, and you won't regret it.
