Terrible communication skills, just doesn’t love his job anymore. Dropped my child as a patient over money greed instead of caring about her health!

He had my 5 year old get 4 caps for her teeth. $3000 later 2 of them fell off within 5 months. Showvaker tells us it's our fault they fell out and will do nothing to fix them.
We take our daughter to another dentist. The new dentist tells us the caps fell out because there was nothing for the caps to connect to on the old teeth. The new dentist tells us that the caps should not have been put on at all and that the person that did the procedure should have known this.
Do not go to this dentist.

Kevin Showvaker did an amazing Job with my child's teeth! I highly recommend him.

Don't waste your time. The dentist is ignorant to the children. The staff is rude. My child was in pain for weeks because of him. Please just don't go here!

He was rather dismissive and seemed too bothered. Not sure if he was having a bad day. But, he said in front of my daughter that he wanted to sedate her assuming she wouldn’t be still. I knew she could because she has handled quite a bit in her short amount of years very well. She ended up crying and was terrified. He then proceeds to suggest that there aren’t many dentists out there who would use laughing gas or any other method. Yet, I was given a list of dentists who do just that. Definitely didn’t leave feeling hopeful at all and I won’t go back there.

Dr Showvaker is so kind and great with kids. I have a medically complex toddler and he is always so good with her. We see doctors regularly at the hospital so I’m used to the typical brief appointment where we are rushed out of the office without a thorough examination or discussion. Dr Showvaker is not like that at all. It’s clear that he cares about the kids he sees.
