Shrewsbury Cycle reviews
7I've used this business 2 times for tire issues once was tube replacement and 2nd was new tire install. Both time were in a very timely and considerate manner. Definitely pleased with this business
I've used Shrewsbury Cycle twice now on the recommendation of fellow riders. Walt is incredibly knowledgeable about Harley's and goes above and beyond to perform a quality of work that I unfortunetly havnt seen in awhile. I will be coming back here in the future as I feel the value I receive from his service is far better than going to any dealer or other shop in my humble opinion.
I asked if they could put new tires on my bike and was told no, he only does Harley’s. I then proceeded to ask if there were any local shops that he knew of that would do it and was mocked for asking such a preposterous question. I didn’t realize only dealerships were capable of doing tires and was told “if you think it’s so easy, why don’t you do it yourself. ” Absolutely disrespectful and a terrible way to run your business. I will certainly take my money elsewhere and not support this joke of a local business.
Always the best work done! I've been dealing with the owner for many years.
Walt is the best around. I needed a new front tire on my Harley, and I needed the bike back fairly quickly, Walt had me out the door in an hour.
Walt installed a new high-torque starter to replace my blown one. Since this bike was new to me (I recently bought a 23 year old Springer) he fixed a few additional things that were needed. He used a “universal” brake line because an OEM style wasn’t available anymore. He went to great lengths to ensure that it was mounted securely and professionally. The labor charge was extremely reasonable - there was a ton of effort involved. I feel comfortable that the work he did was absolutely necessary and completed expertly. He earned my highest recommendation.
Best mechanic for your Harley. The owners knowledge is unmatched. I went to 2 different large Harley shops for my 10,000 & 20000 mile maintenance asking them to do whatever it takes to fix the poor handling on my deuce which I adore except for handling. Both shops used the same OEM fork oil and tires claiming this was the best choice knowing I was unhappy with the bike. I was about to sell my beloved Deuce when a friend highly recommended Shrewsbury Cycle. The owner recommended a different Dunlop tire. When I insisted I would never buy Dunlop tires again, he explained how and why Harley choose the original tires and why these would be much better and offered to replace them with another tire for free if I was not pleased. Well they are amazing. The bike now handles as well as is looks. Extremely satisfied. Would give 6 stars if it was an option.
