Shyda's Outdoor Center, Lebanon PA

Mother and I went in to go buy some ammo and a floor rep kid tried to deny us ammo purchase bcos he assumed I was purchasing/hoarding for myself as if she [my mother] didn't shoot/plink. So I said if it's an issue for a son to pay for his mother's merchandise then check us out separately, way to make a customer feel welcome. I didnt understand what was the problem, why confront a patron like that? I was thinking of coming back and buy the Benelli m4, but after this nevermind. Made my mother feel some type of way, had tell her, don't let it get to her. Go to Lanco Tactical in Elizabethtown, a further hike but top notch. No BS over there.

I was a first time customer here and will be a repeat one. Fair and reasonable pricing and a neat place to check out if you are in the area. While the employees there look like the afterthought of the No Child Left Behind Act (they definitely got left behind) and the failed results of homeschooling, I had an overall positive experience. I highly recommend this place!

If you plan make a trip to come here I don't Recommend here the people and the system are terrible slow and meybe they put you in hold for 15 days

I went to Shyda's today to buy a gun. The boy who waited on me was tall thin and had a buzz cut. Didn't get his name. He was very rude. The entire time I am talking to him he has his arms folded in front of him and is looking around the roon. Not even looking at me. Ladies save yourself the aggravation. I went to Richland and bought my gun. They treated me with respect.

After the staff gossiped in front of me like children for a few minutes, they decided they "didn't have the time to be bothered with" (I could hear the entire conversation verbatim) a transfer to an FFL in Virginia. They asked ME what the laws were in VA instead of verifying themselves. Then Poppa Shyda came over and in his regular arrogant demeanor, announced to the shop that we were done before his other inconsiderate staff slammed my ID back on the counter and stared me down until I left the store. Visited the store numerous times and they have consistently treated me with disrespect. You're better off driving down the road to 911 Rapid Response.

Good selection of guns and accessories. Outdoor part of the store wasn't open but I understand given the current circumstances. I'd come back

This place is truly awesome. The staff is friendly and helpful. The selection is second to none in the area, and the prices are very competitive. The reloading supplies are especially plentiful. A box of primers is a full $10 less here than at the Sportsmans Shop in New Holland, and they actually have supply on hand.

Another visit today with my partner (son) in tow, and another great experience! We were looking for a holster for a new CCW. The young man behind the counter jumped around the counter with a version of my gun in hand, and showed me exactly what I asked for. A few dollars more than ordering it from the Internet or traipsing to the dreaded Walmart, but well worth it. Thanks again, and I will continue to recommend Shyda's to my friends and customers.

Tell you one thing on the phone and something different when you walk in the door. Wasted my morning driving here.

Excellent selection of powders, primers and other components for pistol, shotgun and rifle reloading.

Bought some clothing from them. Turns out I didn't need one of the items so I returned it, tags still on it, folded the same way it was when I left the store, undamaged in ANY fashion. When I take it to the counter the guy doing the exchange says, "is there anything else you'll be needing today? " I said no, I'd just like my money back for this item, he says "I'm sorry, we don't do refunds, store credit only". I was not aware of that policy when I made the purchase, but it does say it on the receipt, which I didn't notice until that moment. Now, it was only like 41 bucks, but still 41 bucks is 41 bucks to me that I can use on somethign else I may need that Shydas may not carry. I told him I didn't want store credit and I wanted my money back and he said "Store credit only" I told him I thought that was BS and he said "We checked with lots of other stores and that's how they do it. " Really? Basically Shydas is stealing money from me to make me use it in their store and not allowing me to spend my money how I see fit or need to. It's a horrible policy and I will never shop their again except to spend my 41 bucks that I HAVE TO use at their store because of their thieving policy. So long Shydas, another customer that has bought several firearms off you along with hunting clothing that will NOT use your crooked store again! SHOP TROP!

The people that work in the gun firearm building are a little rude and act like they are better than everyone. Other than that this place is pretty decent and the prices are fair.

Great selection of firearms. Fair pricing. Professional environment. They have ammo and accessories as well. The lower level has a clothing shop with many known brands. Noce location with plenty of parking.

After visiting several stores and much online searching, Shyda’s was less expensive than big box stores for my new deer rifle (Browning X-bolt). Couple this with the tremendous service experience at their gun shop, I would highly recommend a visit.

I went to Shyda's because the ammo I needed wasn't at Bass Pro. Shyda's had what I needed and much more. The prices were better as well. On this day they were a five star business.

Always a great staff and very helpful. I look forward to stopping by every time I come up to the VA.

First time at Shydas. This place is a sportsmans heaven! They had everything a trap shooter needs for reloading. Didn't mind the 2 hour drive, it was worth the trip!

Don't know why I come here, every time I come in they don't welcome me or ask if I'm looking for something, basically just completely ignores me when I can be a potential paying customer
