After Christmas sale. Some Holiday items are on sale. Example: Christmas dog coats, clearly Christmas motif design, are Not on sale. Stewart, a store Mgr.stated the sign states
“ select Christmas items 50% off” which right above the dog coat display. If the register did not discount the merchandise, then it was not a sale item! I checked my receipt upon my arrival home and there was no discount on two dog coats. I called the store and was apprised of the above explanation.

AWESOME place for buying any and all camping, hunting, and outdoor recreation gear. Doesn't have too much of anything, but has a little bit of everything. Prices are better than anything else you can find.

This place is awesome! It's like those closeouts stores, but for outdoor gear, clothing and shoes. Their clearance items are very well priced (which is becoming ever less common in brick and mortar stores). We're got light-up crocs for our toddler for something like $3 and a pair of heavy duty paracord tree mount straps for $5-6.

In addition to the outdoors stuff, they have a couple small sections in the back door pets, home, and toys. The dressing rooms are self-serve, and the bathrooms are super clean.

It's basically the last store standing in that shopping center that I want to visit.

Their return policy is bad! I bought some hiking stuffs but I did not need it anymore. I had forgotten to return them and 30 days passed. When I requested return, manager said only within 30 days
‘ return is allowed and after 30 days no return and no store credit. I expected store credit because tjmax and Marshall issue store credit after 30 days. I was shocked they have this kind of return service.

Oh, what a fun place to shop! Prices are amazingly reasonable. Found some great bargains and super friendly staff! Worth the 1 1/2 hour drive.

Large selection of clothing but the store is set up similar to a Goodwill where they're just hanging on large racks and you have to sort through everything in hopes you'll find what you're looking for. They are sorted by size which helps but it's still a time consuming process to attempt finding what you like. From what I saw, the prices were decent but if you decide to go for any kind of clothing, make sure you put some time aside, you're going to need it.

While I was there, I asked about their return policy on footwear because they have a pretty good selection. Sadly, it's only a 30 day return window and can only be worn around the home if you have any expectation of getting a refund. This is typical of many retail establishments but as a hiker, the true test for footwear is on the trail for several miles. A $20 membership at REI will allow for a return up to a year, no questions asked.

In all and other than the pricing, I wasn't too impressed. I might return to check it out again someday but find that it would be easier to shop on their website to find what I'm looking for.

It never felt easier to spend $500. Thanks for nothing (and lots of cool stuff), Sierra!
They have it all - Uber-cool wooden canoe for $1,900, as well as Merrell shoes on clearance for $20.

Just plan on spending 2 hours here. Or come back repeatedly.

Just discovered this new brick and mortar store. Been shipping at Sierra Trading Post since their mail order days 20 years ago. Just like the catalog and web site, there was a little bit of everything and a big selection of cloths. I did notice in the gear section, that they had a few items and brands that you normally don't see in stores like REI and EMS, which I thought was a plus. They also had a good selection of freeze dried food. I will definetly be making a stop there before my next adventure.

I've been here multiple times in just a couple of months as I get ready for a big trip to Africa. Love the prices! Love the varied selection! I even found a pair of Lucky Jeans one time. Most visits are totally normal retail visits but I did have one amazing visit where one of the women searched with me through the store to find bug repellent clothing! She was so amazingly helpful and I am kicking myself that I can't recall her name.

Reminds you of a Marshall's, Homegoods, Ross, but more of an outdoors theme with equipment and clothes. Also has a small food section. Friendly staff. Newly opened, March 2019.

Used to shop on their website years ago. They just opened this store nearby. Lots of different items, but small selection of each. Prices were good. It'll probably be my first stop for outdoor gear unless I need to know I'm going to find it that day somewhere else.
