Great restaurant! Owner is very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and the omelettes we had were great!

Great food, excellent service. A tad pricey for breakfast but we'll be back.especially for the pumpkin pancakes!

Unbelievable quality for the prices, and so much to choose from. Homemade fries (sweet potato and regular) were crispy and tasty, salad was fresh and included plenty of toppings, sandwiches were stuffed so high my kids couldn’t get their mouths around for a whole bite, and my mom’s mashed potatoes were real potatoes, not boxed, and Turkey seemed fresh sliced. The waitresses were really sweet and attentive too! So glad we stopped.

Breakfast was really good. But I did think that it was ridiculous to charge me Extra money for strawberry lemonade Refill. They did tell me about it but I thought was tacky Nonetheless it was very good. It was my 1st time there. Probably not my last But I did get a laugh with a strawberry lemonade tea. Charge appropriate for refills. 75 cent. I just think it's a business strategy you should change it.

Silver Spring Feast for breakfast was incredible. Tasted great and so much food. I will be eating breakfast here again and again.

I have always had excellent service here. The waitresses are top notch and attentive to their customers. I have seen some negativity about service at this restaurant and as a regular, I can't say that I have ever experienced it. Food is consistently good and priced competitively.

Food was great. Incredible service from our waitress, with barely any waiting for our food. A cheap option that I would highly recommend.

Very delicious food and great atmosphere. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Only 4 stars because there was no seperation between seats and it felt overcrowded. Would definitely go to again.

Terrible service, Waitress was rude and disrespectful to all the customers not just me and my friend. They also over charged me way too much. I didn’t leave a tip on the card and the waitress saw that I didn’t leave a tip on the table either and came up to the register and told the lady checking us out that there was nothing on the table. The lady checking us out then continues to say we weren’t tipping and n the card either in front of our faces. Then our waitress said “was there something wrong with my service” which made me feel obligated to leave a tip that was in no way deserved at all. I work as a waitress as well and have never ever seen service this bad and never seen what happened right in front of my face with the asking for a tip. After I was done checking out the ladies were talking about us in front of our faces and didn’t even say thank you or anything. I will never be returning to this restaurant ever again I felt so disrespected so shamed upon. Please fix this for future costumers which will not be me.

Food is good, reasonably priced, service is good and friendly, as is the case with all service business during the Covid outbreak it is difficult for them.to keep people working but it a good family restaurant

Their breakfast awesome. I enjoyed my dinner from them Monday as well. So much respect for them for staying open. Screw the tyrants!

Servers put in WORK here trying to keep patrons accommodated and happy. Prices were great, Food was really good & the ambiance was awesome (very cozy& comfortable). Everyone was very nice and relaxed. Great experience, we will return - Wish I lived closer, I'd be here often!

This has been a family favorite for years. Sadly we no longer live as close as we used to, but we always stop in when we are in the area. The service has always been excellent, the food is almost all house made, and the prices are very fair! I hope many continue to support this local gem as we will all be thankful to hold onto places like these after such unprecedented times.

Hugs menu of unusual and traditional breakfast offerings. Lot's of German influences too. Food was outstanding and the service was fine and the prices are reasonable. Can't wait to go back! Super highly recommended!

I was shocked to hear about the exstenive kitchen fire at this restaurant on the midday early morning hours of February 25/26 2020 me and my family used to wat there when we lived down in Columbia. Lancaster county sure has good old fashioned homestyle family restaurants and this was surely 1 of them! Best wishes and prayers to the owners and hopefully you were well insured and can remodel and reopen soon?
