We enjoyed our experience here more than most B&Bs. Melanie and Arnold are the most gracious host. You will leave feeling like you have made new friends. The gardens show the level of care they give to every detail. Highly recommended.

It was a great experience and Melanie made us feel home. Would definitely recommend to anyone, she was super nice & helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

I can not recommend a stay at Simple Pleasures B&B enough. If you are going to spend some time in Lancaster County, you won't find a better place to stay.

Our room was spacious, immaculate, and comfortable. The property was beautifully maintained and colorful, and was a blast to explore. The common areas were clean and cozy, and the front porch's farm view was breathtaking. We enjoyed it so much that we found it tough to leave the property.

At the center of it all are Melanie & Arnold, the incredible hosts. Melanie's warm and welcoming spirit was only outmatched by her delicious breakfast. She and her family made sure all of our needs were met, and could not have been more kind, generous, and fun to talk to. Arnold delivered a beautiful prayer before breakfast on Sunday and made us feel like family.

Many thanks to the Martin family again for hosting us, and we are very excited to try out a new room during our next visit.

We had the best time staying with the Martins for Mothers Day weekend. What a beautiful and warm family. Melanie prepared the most delicious breakfast with fresh fruit, French toast, fluffy eggs, juice, milk and coffee. There is a 24/7 drink bar filled with goodies and drinks- lots of variety. The entire family made us feel so welcomed and the special touches were above and beyond wonderful! If you can get into Melanie’s B & B you are in for the treat of a lifetimeRooms are very clean, the house is beautiful and the atmosphere is amazing. The back yard is absolutely gorgeous. We highly recommend Simple Pleasures and will be revisiting in the near future. Thank you Martins for giving us one of the best weekends we’ve had in a very long time. We felt so very pampered. My husband and I stayed here on a last minute whim, and what a treat it was! The Martin's were very gracious hosts, and Melanie's kindness and genuine caring about meeting our every need was evident.
Our room was spotlessy clean, comfortable and inviting, and the home was immaculate.

Greatest place to stay! They will go out of there way to make you feel at home. I even got a clean car this time around. They are a 10 star place. Super clean, amazing food and awesome people.

Simple Pleasures Bed and Breakfast was wonderful! I took my mom for Mother's Day weekend and we had a really great stay. Melanie and family are SO kind and welcoming. Breakfast was SO GOOD. This is an AMAZING place. It was so peaceful there.so clean.so relaxing. Melanie, her spouse Arnold and the children are very welcoming. Breakfast was out of this world. I am definitely coming back! Please make sure to visit Melanie's church.

There is not much to say, other than this: Simple Pleasures Bed and Breakfast was.absolutely.perfect. Simply the best.

We stayed at Simple Pleasures Bed & Breakfast last week. It’s absolutely wonderful. The house and the surrounding acres of land are meticulously maintained with love. The house is so clean, cleaner than any place I ever stayed. The breakfast is great and Melanie’s hospitality is something I never seen, she really goes way above and beyond. She offered toys to our toddler at check-in. At breakfast when there’s another family with a young infant, she took over holding the baby and kept the baby so quiet that the mom can eat and enjoy breakfast in peace. Melanie is also a great gardener with her lovely garden, interesting plants on the porch and in the house. She has such a motherly, warm, caring and calm personality. If you want peace and tranquility, this is absolutely the place to go.

We had a lovely time with the Martins, we felt welcomed since the moment we arrived, the attention to every detail is a delight, from the sparkling clean facilities to the super fresh just made breakfast every morning and the time the host spent playing with our little boy, talking to us, providing interesting and useful information about the culture and the activities in the surrounding areas, they also have available books, toys and books for kids, this is a place that no one should miss.

Our expectation were succeeded by far and we would love to come back whenever we have a chance to go back to the Amish county.

Absolutely wonderful! The owners were very personal with us and made us feel right at home! Were able to give us local recommendations to make our say truly amazing!

Melanie and fam were very courteous and welcoming from the second we met until the end. They made sure to make us feel as if we were family. The place is very clean, very relaxing and she goes out of her way to prepare a delicious home made breakfast which we all loved. I highly recommend this location as you will for sure have a very comfortable, relaxing and safe stay. Looking fordward to returning again.
