Kirk has been wonderful helping my son with his downhill race bike. We didn't buy the bike from Simplicity, yet the owner has bent over backwards with technical assistance (service) to help keep his bike race ready. The components and accessories he doesn't stock he can get quickly and he's even sourced some oddball stuff for us. He's rebuilt a few wheels for my son that get used very aggressively and they've held up better than expected. Simplicity is the kind of local shop that I much prefer to do business with.

Edit: Kirk has now rebuilt many wheels for my son’s DH race bike and his training bike. My son rides quite aggressively (UCI Elite and USAC Pro) and stresses the daylights out of his wheels. He’s always been extremely happy with the robustness of the builds under the most extreme and demanding conditions.
