Christy was absolutely amazing from start to finish! She was a huge help with finalizing the wedding morning timeline and she and Shannon Cole (makeup artist) worked wonderfully together. Christy was very kind and communicative throughout the process. She was also right on time with the schedule we established. I actually heard several of the other girls noticing and commenting on how she was right on time - it was truly impressive! She ensured I had exactly what I wanted and we talked through a small change I wanted from the trial to the wedding day which she executed flawlessly. I would absolutely recommend Christy from Simply Captivating to anyone!

Simply Captivating Salon was one of the first vendors I booked and I am so happy I did! Christy was so responsive and professional through the entire process. I had to reschedule my bridal trial last minute and Christy was very understanding and was able to fit me in another day. I loved my hair after my trial but I knew I wanted my curls slightly different for the wedding day. The day of the wedding, Christy and her team were so organized and just a blast to be around while getting ready. Christy ended up making some adjustments on how she curled my hair from the trial and I was obsessed. I have never felt more beautiful! I still can’t get over how much I loved my hair! She is so talented and honestly the sweetest human! My bridesmaids, mothers and flower girls hairstyles all turned out so beautiful as well! I can’t recommend Christy and her team enough!

Simply Captivating did my sister's wedding two years ago, and it was a no-brainer for me to contact them for my wedding too. Christy and Briana made me and my bridal party feel beautiful yet still ourselves. I have very thick and long hair, and it looked beautiful all day and night long (even despite a surprise rain shower!). My bridal party looked stunning as well, and we got compliments from guests all night long! They helped me create my day-of timeline, which took a lot of stress off of me. They were super responsive and easy to communicate with throughout my entire engagement and planning process. I hope to work with them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone!

Kara with simply captivating salon did amazing for my wedding! Communication was great, was able to do multiple trial runs, and I was completely undecided on my hair until I sat down to get my hair done and it was better than I could have hoped for! All of the bridesmaids hair was beautiful! Highly recommend!

Christy did an amazing job! She was very responsive to emails and experienced with naturally curly hair, which is very hard to find. She was able to use my natural curls and made it feel like the best version of my natural style. Our bridal party had a range of waves, half updos, braids, buns, etc.and Christy rocked them all and they looked great all night! I never worried about my hair coming undone and would highly recommend.

When I got engaged I started to reach out to some past brides I knew to see who I should try and book with for my wedding hair. Simply Captivating was always mentioned even if a bride couldn’t have them do their own hair! I was lucky enough that when I reached out there was still availability for my date and am SO thankful I got Amelia as my hair stylist. Christy and Amelia were so responsive and made the booking process so easy. Any question I had or edits I wanted to make to the contract they were happy to answer or do. Amelia is so extremely talented and gave me the wedding hair of my dreams. It was so fun meeting with her for my trials and getting to know her. She made my getting ready experience the morning of so special and memorable. I wish I could always have her do my hair for any event in my life! Could not recommend enough. One of my favorite vendors!

As a makeup artist in the business, I have worked with Christy on weddings many times. Let me just say- she and her team are the best of the BEST!

However, this past weekend, it was my turn to be the bride. Christy absolutely killed it. I didn’t know my hair could look so good! Even when I realized I forgot my hair extensions, and we had to wait for my wedding planner to pick up new ones (whoops!), Christy handled the last minute schedule change and stress with such poise and kindness! She and Amelia (who is also absolutely incredible!) made all of my friends + family feel so amazing. They all made comments to me how they’ve never ever loved their hair so much. Everybody’s hair stilled looked PERFECT at 3 AM.

I got on Simply Captivating Hair's waiting list and booked them as soon as their 2023 books opened and it was one of the best decisions I made when planning our wedding! Christy was amazing to work with leading up to the wedding! She is SO organized which I love. My mom and I did a trial a month before the wedding and we both changed a few minor details from the trial to the wedding. She was so organized the morning of with that too, she had printed pictures out of inspiration and pictures from the trial and what needed changed. Her whole team was so sweet the morning of my wedding which is so important when you're getting ready on a day with a lot of emotions and a lot going on! We had 18 ladies getting hair done and Christy made sure we were prepared with a schedule ahead of time so that we wouldn't run behind. Bre, Michelle, and Haley all did amazing as well! All of my bridesmaids loved their hair and everyone kept commenting on how it stayed all night long!

Christy made me feel so beautiful and calm the morning of my wedding! She is seriously one of the sweetest humans!

I cannot recommend Simply Captivating enough, specifically Amelia and Haley! Amelia is absolutely stellar. I have a LOT of thick wavy hair, and she worked with me to get the perfect look. She was extremely receptive to feedback after my hair trial, and I could not be more thrilled with how my hair turned out on my wedding day. She was SO sweet and so much fun to work with. Amelia and Haley both made all of my bridesmaids, MOB, and MOG look AMAZING! All of my girls were gushing about their hair and how kind they both were. They were efficient and easy to work with. The best part is, even on a hot June day, all of our hair stayed perfectly in place. Absolutely recommend working with these two incredible women and with this company in general!

If I had to choose my one definable or identifiable feature it would most certainly be my hair, it is how I’m most frequently recognized and described. So naturally, my biggest concern on my wedding day was my hair, above EVERYTHING else. Enter Christy and her team, who I’ve followed on IG for many years while planning my wedding and who has also done a number of my friends’ hair for their weddings. I chose a Friday date just to have her! From the trial on, my fears of having beautiful wedding hair, most like my natural hair, were completely alleviated even when we changed the day of look up just a little bit. I have A LOT of long, thick, wavy/curly hair that doesn’t always cooperate or hold. Christy is not only the sweetest angel but also a magician and my hair held (and was still beautiful) the morning after my wedding. If she’s available, she should 100% be your go to. Her and her team are amazing!
