UPDATE: Increasing from 2 to 3 stars. Someone called me b/c of this review. Still, had I not left a review here then there was apparently no way to reach someone by phone or email to get a response.

The staff and car rental were fine. However, the Customer Service afterwards is unacceptable as I never got a Receipt and still can't get one.

Their main # either hangs up on you or navigates to an automated message that states that due to "unprecedented times, we do not have people available to talk. Go to our website". The website is no help in tracking down a Receipt. I emailed their generic Sales inbox, which is the only inbox I've found. How is it this difficult, and potentially impossible, to get a Receipt? I'll never do business with this company again.

1) bad customer service 2) charged me 3x for fuel with letting me know before hand 3) there were no scratches on the car and employee did a check and a week later they are charging me $900 for scratches.

Do not rent from here

Everyone at Sixt was very friendly, especially the lady at the desk who gave us our car! The car was clean and in great condition.

AVOID THE RENTAL CAR SERVICE. IT'S A BORDERLINE SCAM

I tried to pick up my reserved car and no one was even there when I arrived and I couldn't get anyone on the phone. I went a day later and my reservation wasn't even in the system. They left me in LIMBO for over 4 days. They are extremely hard to get a hold of and take forever to respond to email.

Please return my money in full before I take this to the BBB. You broke your end of our agreement by not providing a car THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR.

Had a great experience renting a car on a holiday week. The customer service in person was great. The only drawback was that they don't have a phone number for customers to contact them, which is my reason for giving 4 stars.

More remote than other rental agencies at PHD airport, 15 min wait for bus. Extremely expensive (about 3 times) more than I normally pay but nobody else had availability. Check in was slow, staff friendly, car clean. Parking lot in complete darkness. Never heard of a Nissan Sentra being described as an "intermediate limousine" before! Would not use again if I had other option.

One of the worst rent a car places in Philadelphia yeah only if you are African America we are not being treated fair and will not being treated equal as a customer at this rent a car company daylight they left me and my family stranded and arraigned just because they didn't want to honor my reservations but they took my money and I couldn't get it back for 3 to 5 business days to rent another car even if I wasn't able to rent from these guys say they are so unprofessional When it comes to African American people I've been told there's no cars available as as they rent cars to the white people They will give the luxury car to black people without them being Investigated evaluated interrogated like I really hate renting cars from sixt rent a car They even left me stranded on my birthday in Atlanta and Atlanta I swear this is the worst rent a car company I ever dealt with so please be careful if you are African African American Is looking to rent from this car company even a few of my family members and friends experienced some of it's experienced some of the same things so so just know that these are true facts %

The customer service from the PHL branch is exception. They couldn't have been more helpful, from the bus driver to the security guard, the pickup at the desk to the drop off. The we're so professional and pleasant to deal with. I also was very happy and grateful for the upgrade. Being from Arizona the cold really bothered me, so the heated seats meant so much.

My experience at Sixt Philadelphia was very disappointing. The nastiest Dodge Durango I have ever had was given to me as my rental. The drive of the SUV was very hard and the motor was loud inside of the vehicle. I had to get the truck washed inside and out. And even after filing a complaint for 2 days I had to pay nearly $750 dollars. I’ll never let this happen again.

Clean vehicle, despite a huge shortage of rental cars, Sixt always has solution.
Front desk are very polite and the service is great.

Terrible condition of cars and zero customer service support.

We reserved a small SUV for our week-long trip. When we went to drive away, we got a low tire warning. We brought the car back, and they gave us another one. Later that day, we received the same low tire alert. We ended up having to fill the tire multiple times per day during our entire trip to ensure it didn't go completely flat. When we dropped it off, they were utterly unhelpful in providing a discount or documenting our claim - telling us to call a 1800 number which hangs up on you in the end due to high call volume.

The first car we received also had a ton of body damage, not all of which was listed on the print out.

Cheap car rental and you get what you pay for.

Use the service in Italy. Never ever ever ever use! Please do yourself a favor! Charged for a deductible when we already had bumper to bumper insurance. And then they said we scratch the rim on the tire which is ridiculous. So then she said that would be $2000. And that is the exact insurance we purchased to avoid that even though we didn’t even want to purchase it.

I just got my rental car at this location, I was assisted by Renee very helpful and friendly.
So far I have absolutely no complaints, I am specially grateful that I can pick up at this location and drop off at their JFK location. I super recommend them. Got a great vehicle, paid for the benefits they offer and my peace of mind.
Very much recommend them.

The total for unlimited toll was supposed to be $33 and was charged $51. Also i wasn’t aware of all these additional charges.

This is my first review. I had to write to make sure people understand how Sixt Rental treats their customers. I rented a car with them on August 19,2021, they did not have the car I had initially booked. I was fine with it and they asked me if I wanted to pay for the toll, I agreed. Next month I get the bill for 37.98 for toll, I did not understand why I got the bill so I called and I came to find out they never added the toll initially after they told me they will. Today I got charged $57.44 for toll again. I called them to ask why I was being charged again for toll, the lady who answered the phone was rude, I could tell she had no intentions to help as she picked up the phone. She begins with I do not know why you get charged twice and when I try to tell her as I have already paid for it and try to explain the situation. She stopped me and gave me the toll phone number and as I was asking some questions she hung up. I have had this issue with Sixt when called them for the 1st time. They have no intention to help people. I would not recommend people use their service. Thank you. I hope this review is helpful for other customers looking to get a rental car.

Two times the airport shuttle drove right by us and ignored us waving at them. Was at the airport and extra half hour for no reason. Why offer an airport shuttle if it doesn't shuttle anybody? Had to call and let them know we were there for someone to come get us. Stupid
