Skatium, Havertown PA

Older rink that's a bit outdated. If you're there for hockey the locker rooms smell terrible and gets foggy/warm in there during the summer. If you're looking for a neighborhood rink to go skating with friends it's totally fine but there are definitely nicer rinks in the area that'll have an actual parking lot that isn't part of a police station next door with signs that say you can't park there.

It's like home ice #2 for us! Hockeytown pro shop is a great shop and they run an excellent summer league too!

I was at Have-a-burger which is Connected to the Skatium with its entrance on the side of the building. It's small but cozy. The service was fabulous.

Very poor bleacher arrangement. Difficult to see the whole rink because of how thick the netting is. Most rinks use thin netting so it doesn't obstruct the view.
Chained off the bottom two rows of bleachers, which had the best view. No one knows why, so it was completely pointless to not let us sit down there.
Overall, if you're looking forward to watching a game here, be prepared for disappointment.

Overall, a great facility. Clean, roomy and good views from all points to include from the inside of their food area.

Grandpa's Garage Production Studio suggests to get over here and get healthy. We love our ice, come and skate when in town, this is the best ice for fifty miles.
Also, don't forget the added bonus of HAV A BURGER grill is a must enjoy, fresh not frozen hamburgers, milkshakes and more awesome, all inside our Skatium.

This place is great. Check the website to see what events are planned for the day. My kids love it, and the staff are fantastic.

Seems like the same place I went to as a kid.meaning, in 20 years, perhaps they could have spruced it up just a little for spectators / parents of the players.

A fundraiser for my son was hosted here, and not only were the facilities awesome but the owner offered to take my son around on the Zamboni. Great rink!

Construction made parking difficult. I just went to take advantage of a great day with some basketball. Was a bonus to catch a bit of baseball for the youth leagues.

Love it here! Used to go as a kid and still go as an adult! Planning a family outing there this weekend!

My family had a great time at the Skatium today. We have 3 young children and the staff was extremely friendly, supportive and generous towards them.

This is a hometown rink at it’s finest. A great and safe place to catch a game, enjoy free skate (with a DJ on Fridays!) or learn to skate. There’s also a new Learn to Play hockey program with the Flyers.

A great spot and a great addition to our Township.

The ice is perfect! They have games for kids and bubble hockey which is fun for all ages! The restaurant is warm inside and has good food. The price for public skating is cheaper than Ice Works in Aston Pa. It is $8.00 opposed to $10.00. The staff are always polite and friendly. Bathrooms are clean also. It is a good family oriented place to go for a good time. Enjoy. I always do!

Nice place to go and skate around. There are workers who skate around to make sure everyone is safe. Which is always good. Skate rental is a breeze.

Great rink - much better lighting since they redid the lights with the LEDs. And the ice is one of the tops out of all DVHL rinks.

Very nice and well maintained ice rink that offers public skating sessions almost every day. They also run figure skating and ice hockey training programs. My only complaint is the lack of season pass for those who come to the rink frequently.

I've grown up going to this Skatium DVD now I'm raising my children in my hometown and they enjoy going to the Skatium as well! Very friendly helpful staff.
