Skippereno's Italian Restaurant reviews
12Homemade Italian wedding soup was delicious. Had the homemade macaroni and meatballs. The pasta sauce and meat was really good. Had to try a pizza roll not disappointed the sauce and dough were fresh made and delicious if the pizza tastes anything like the roll you shouldn't pass that up either and the price for the meal is unbeatable. Was a little unsure of the quality level for a meal at under $12 but it well above a meal I've paid $25 a plate for.
The food was amazing! We had cheese bread, wings, wedding soup, pizzas, calzone and a meatball sub. ALL of it was delicious. The food is homemade and locally sourced, and it shows. Heidi served us and she was fantastic! Loved everything about them.
Being of Italian decent, I'd have to rate it one of the best places to go to to enjoy delicious pasta and sauce!
Chris B disagrees, but we love Skippereno’s! Perfect pizza for a group! On your way to top spot in Erie’s Pizza game!
We were visiting Erie, PA for the day and needed a place to eat. I stumbled upon this restaurant through maps and we were so glad we did! The food was delicious, portions were great, and the waitress was super sweet. We had a great dinner and recommend to anyone in that area!
Great 'neighborhood ' Italian restaurant. Erie used to have them in every few and now down to a precious few, and Skippereno's is an iconic example. We would go there more often but we live 20 miles away.
A very nice little Italian restaurant. Food is AWESOME! Great service. They have music playing that is very nice. Think about a classic Italian restaurant. With great prices
Was traveling thru the area and I am so happy we found this place. Everyone was friendly and the food was great.
Ordered a large "double cheese" pizza. Pizza was lousy and tasteless. Cheese was light. Tasted like cafeteria pizza. Price was reasonable but still not worth it.
My go-to place for an amazing Italian sub and/or wings. They're conveniently located and always provides great professional service.
Was our first time ordering from here. Was a take out. Ordered a small cheese pizza, lasagna dinner with a salad, appetizers were onion rings and deep fried mushrooms. Ended up throwing away the pizza and the lasagna. Called the place to ask if they make any of the pizzas with fresh dough or were they all made using frozen pre-made crusts. She didn't know (?). The lasagna was like a bowl of sauce and cheese smothering a pasta and ricotta mush. The Italian bread, salad and appetizers were very good. Definitely can't recommend the pizza or lasagna.
