Skyline Rentals reviews
17I lived in my house over seven years. Awesome landlord, property and an experience. Well done.
Wow what a company! Skyline Rentals has been attentive, respectful, honest, and on top of it all friendly. Cannot recommend them enough!
My company & I have worked with Kevin over the years, and I cannot say enough about his & their professionalism and integrity. I would highly recommend Skyline Rentals.
Skyline asks its current tenants to write reviews for them. All of the 5 star reviews are likely done by their clients, under implicit duress through the tenant-owner relationship, or by friends and family of their company. They ask for these reviews at the start of tenants tenancy, while they hold power over the tenants' housing and financial outcomes. My partner and I were asked to write reviews when we were tenants, so I suspect others were (and probably are still). Furthermore, once my partner changed their rating and lowered Skyline's rating by a visible amount, there was a large influx of good reviews that inflated their rating. I don't recommend them as a renter, and I suspect that they are similarly unreliable to homeowners.
I was a tenant of Skyline Rentals for two years. They were the least professional and most unreliable rental company that I have ever experienced. Maintenance orders were late or left uncompleted without communication, tenants were asked to report on what other tenants were doing, and they withheld hundreds more dollars from the security deposit than was justified with claims along the lines of 'a quarter-of-an-inch chip in a quartz countertop is assessed as damage to the value of 10% of the countertop'. Once we brought up issues with their evaluations of our damages to the counter and their wooden floors (we moved light chairs chairs across the floor while pulling and pushing them from our table), they did not reply to our email and sent us back our deposit, minus their ridiculous and inflated damages through Venmo [and against our lease agreement].
It was not until we threatened legal action and a BBB complaint that they replied to our emails.
The rental owner / Skyline owner showed up at random times, without warning and would look over our place. They built our apartment so shoddily that water would run into the second floor and because we were on the top floor, they would appear regularly at the door to investigate every nook-and-cranny of our apartment for the leak. Once they determined the issue (their shoddy construction) and decided to repair it, we were told the repairs would only require a week. Without warning us that the repair would involve noxious concrete dust being spewn across everything outdoors, they had their workers begin the work, ruining hundreds of dollars of outdoor equipment, and preventing us from going onto the roof. The workers re-arranged our outdoor equipment, woke us up by looking through our third-floor window at 7 in the morning, and did not clean up any of their mess. This lasted for almost three weeks. We were given back $200 in rent. Not enough to cover the cost of our ruined, permanently stained and stain-ing furniture (it would leave brown smears on everything it touched), and we had to spend hours cleaning up the mess left behind by the workers. This is the quality to detail and care for tenants that we came to expect with Skyline.
My honest and deeply bitter view of Skyline Management is that I hope they someday have to rent from a company as awful as themselves.
Edit:
I forgot how condescending Kevin can be. My review has been on my to-do list for a little over a year, and I fully believe that if someone deserves a review because they're awful, they should get it, regardless of the time it takes.
I would be very, very surprised if any of the 'damages' from our wear-and-tear were repaired.
You missed my point about the BBB. To be clear: the point is that your lack of communication, terrible transparency, abrasive behavior, and predatory actions pushed us to the point that we were considering legal action and a complaint to the BBB.
This has been my honest experience with you all; you are bad managers of people and property. I wish the best for you too, but I doubt you care so much for your community of tenants as you claim seeing as to how you built our apartment in the middle of the Covid-19 lockdown while all work was suspended by the city. Money seems to matter more to you more than your tenants, the law, or the health of the community.
Skyline Rentals has the levels professionalism. Every maintenance issue we had was handled thust far was handle with care and urgency. Kevin our landlord really cares and has a passion for his job. It really shows in his properties. Our process for the application was easy and safe. I highly recommended this company for your all your rental needs
Skyline does a fantastic job at responding for any issues. Frequently it’s the same day! Every agent cares about the property and the tenant. No issues so far and don’t expect any. Very happy with my decision.

Just moved to a new property of skyline rentals and so far any issues that have occurred they responded to with quick service and try to accommodate to make you feel comfortable. Great communication skills and reliable company. Happy I choose to rent with them!
Skyline Rental units are topnotch and their customer service is too. Tulio and the Skyline team took their time to show me all of their available properties and worked hard on solving my maintenance requests. Their website is user friendly and everything can be done with a click of a button. I spent over three weeks looking for a place to live when I first moved to Philadelphia for work, and I look as far as one hour and twenty minutes from the city. The Skyline properties were the best looking and maintained.
The property management team is awesome. They have very professional and skilled staff especially the maintenance guy Jay. His communicates well and get the job done!
