Very fast service, easy check in and check out, super clean rooms, great water pressure and fun shaped shower! Breakfast wasn't the most amazing, but there was plenty to choose from. Would stay again!
Used as a way point driving south to VA from Canada. Easy friendly check in. Nice room and a good outdoor gazebo to have our drinks
Great hotel for the price. Bed was firm, yet comfortable. Plenty of outlets. Close to campus. Good breakfast (waffle maker and prepackaged muffins, danishes, etc). Friendly staff. Also, the space-capsul like shower was different, but really clean since there are no 90° corners. Plus it had good water pressure. My only complaint and the reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is that the walls are way too thin. I could hear everything in the adjoining rooms.
The staff made it a wonderful experience. There were also a lot of surprise extras from snacks and cookies being left out, welcome waters, and the breakfast was really good! The side patio was so cute and a perfect place for me to get some last minute work done. The shower looks really small, but not to worry, there is an alcove in there and it is bigger inside. Our large cabinet smelled oddly inside so we opted not to use it, but otherwise things were great. There is a fridge and a microwave in the room. We had 4 adults so the room and the beds were both a little cramped, but we got a really great price and I feel like the value exceeded the money we spent!
Stayed overnight after the Shinedown concert. Bed was like a cloud. Room was clean! Great location as well! If I come back to the happy valley again, I would definitely stay here.
Here for just one night and enjoyed the stay. The staff was friendly at check in. The room exceeded my expectations. Parking at the front is limited but the rear has additional parking spaces. There is easy access to the building from the main street. Breakfast is served each morning.
Great hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms. Stayed everywhere in State College and this is the best bang for your buck. Cleaner than the expensive hotels downtown. Close to campus and plenty of restaurants.
The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are so comfortable and clean. Rates are good, too.
Have stayed all over State College and thoroughly enjoyed this location. Ladies at the front desk were so welcoming and friendly, it really added to the stay. Right near campus and anything you could possibly need is right here on Atherton.
We stayed at the hotel for 11 nights this Summer. The feel was home away from home. First, five stars to Melissa and the hotel manager who upgraded the room as soon as I realised I had booked the wrong room while doing the online booking. Five stars for the spacious room, hot water shower, coffee machine, microwave and fridge. Five stars to Becca who with her sweet voice repeatedly said “all good there” “do you need any help? ” “30 seconds in the microwave dear” throughout the breakfast sessions. Always willing to make your breakfast experience the best.
Excellent service from reception staff Melissa, Betty, Kim and the other beautiful ladies. Ben and the entire housekeeping staff who made us feel welcomed. Bonus points for the laundry room on the 3rd floor. You see why I called it home away from home… ***** best experience.
Second time staying at Sleep Inn in Dec 2022, no less of a beautiful experience with the Christmas cheer. Stayed 15 days of the cold winter in this warm place not just the building and heaters within but the warmth from the people that run the show day in and day out. Melissa, Kim, Betty, Alice, Martha, Ben and my favorite Becca. Thank you for a memorable stay.see you all again soon.
