Been stopping up on weekends all summer. A few staff changes but always great food great people make you feel like family and that's the whole package. If you need something, ask. They're more than willing to make a change to accommodate you. Can't say enough about how well you're treated there.

I hadn't heard of a Pittsburgh salad before. Their take on it is awesome. Chef salad with fries, onion rings, and a bread stick, oh my! Very fresh greens and extremely filling. Great job! Our waitress was very friendly and you can tell, she takes care of her regulars very well. Nice little stop along our trip.

The bbq is not bbq. It is just baked chicken with bbq sauce. Over cooked food and tastes like it is from a high school cafeteria. Don't call yourself bbq if you don't know what you're doing. Get a smoker. It will help you.

Ordered soup And it was thick as paste. No lettuce for salad.
Definitely not a good experience

Whatever Pete’s “smokin”, it ain’t bbq. I had the half chicken, which was ok, but it wasn’t real bbq. I’m pretty confident it was either baked and then covered with bbq sauce at the end, or, boiled and broiled, with sauce dumped on at the end. Either way, the name is deceiving as this place is not a bbq joint.

On a positive note, their sauce wasn’t that bad.

Menu: Mostly bar style food. Frozen, processed, deep fried, assembled.

Service: Well, let’s just say there were no smiles on the menu.

Value: I paid $13 for two pieces of chicken with bbq sauce…. You tell me.

Verdict: Punxsutawney is a unique town with a lot to offer, don’t let this restaurant be the food experience you unfortunately have to remember. Be better to yourself
