What a great experience working with Smucker Fencing. We went to their showroom in Honeybrook and met with John, the owner. Enjoyed looking at the myriad of choices they had before finally going with the commercial grade aluminum fencing.

Their team kept us informed with prompt scheduling. When the first day of install had to be moved a day, we received a prompt call apologizing and giving us a firm commitment.

Matt, the team foreman, and his team arrived promptly at their scheduled time of 7 am. Professional, courteous and hard working. They first removed our old fencing and then installed almost 400 feet of fencing and 3 gates including one double-wide gate.

Each post was installed in concrete with meticulous care insuring all was level. Our property has several slopes and elevation changes. Each section was leveled an is pleasing to the eye. Compared to our previous fence the difference is incredible. The self closing hinges on the gates were perfect as we use our yard to keep our dogs when they go outside. No escapes from gates inadvertently left open.

In just over 2 days they had completed the fence removal and installation.

So glad we went with the commercial grade aluminum fencing. More sturdy and robust. The matte black finish is stunning.

Smucker Fencing just finished putting up 200 feet of garden fencing for us. Every step of the way, from providing the quote to completing the fence, they were great. They got to us in a reasonable time frame and arrived early on the day they said they would. DJ and the crew worked hard, showed obvious expertise, and were absolutely meticulous every step of the way. It was honestly impressive to watch, especially because the ground is rocky and far from level. The end result is perfect. We couldn't be happier with the fence or Smucker fencing.

Super happy with our experience with Smucker Fencing. We had a black aluminum installed around 3 sides, and a wooden privacy fence installed one side of our yard. Our yard had tons of rock, and the guys worked hard to complete our job in 2 days. They were professional and very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. Our fence turned out perfect and as expected.

They were on time, communicated very well, listened to and addressed all our concerns and needs about our new fence. During installation there was an unexpected obstacle and they worked very well with us to find the perfect solution. They were very efficient and finished on time. Smucker Fencing did a fantastic job installing our fence. Workmanship was top notch. DJ and his team treated our property with care, they cleaned up after themselves, and you would never have known they were here. We started to go with another company but we were getting bad vibes. We followed a recommendation from a friend and switched to Smucker. We are very glad we did. I highly recommend them.

They only do estimation appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Their scheduler puts me on the calendar for the first available date they have 2 weeks out, but won't give me a time. They confirm the time 1-2 days before.

I mentioned to her TWICE that I was not available on that day from 8-9 am. When the scheduler called me to confirm, she picked the exact time frame that I said I am NOT available.

This was the last bid I was waiting for because the other 4-5 fencing contractors prioritized my need for a bid over their own rigid scheduling constraints and policy.

If you need a responsive builder with good service, this is not the business for you.

I called Smucker Fencing to install vinyl railing for a few steps on my front porch based on their great reviews online. I am very happy with the final product and the price was better than quotes I got from some other places. I had to follow up with scheduling after waiting 5 weeks after putting down a deposit. Fortunately, they were able to get me on the schedule within the following week. The work was done over 3 days. The weather curtailed work on the first day, and they had to go back to back to get more materials on the second day after part of the railing was cut incorrectly. Also left lots of vinyl shavings in the flower beds adjacent to the steps. Overall I am happy with the work.

I've got nothing but good things to say about this business. I had a two-rail split rail fence with black mesh installed in my backyard and it came out beautifully! From the start of this process, Smucker was professional and prompt. They sent the estimate in good time, they answered all my questions well and, best of all, they were able to put the fence in mid-April rather than late May as they originally projected! Nate and two other young men arrived on time at 8am and were done by 3pm. Nate answered my questions, and did exactly what I asked for with some particular spots. In the end, they left with everything cleaned up nicely and the old white vinyl fence they removed stacked neatly to the side of the yard. I'd definitely use them again and recommend them with no reservations.

John, Matt and his crew exceeded my expectations. My job was unique and required skillful craftsmen with attention to detail. They were all this and more. They were super professional, courteous and did I mention their prices were good? I am very particular and I would highly recommend them.
