Soaring Eagle Camp Ground, Equinunk PA

Absolute wonderful experience here. Definitely will be coming back. Staff super helpful and friendly. The views in this place were so jaw dropping. There is a local hike nearby that is definitely worth checking out for a quick day trip. A very laid back calm experience here exactly how camping should be. Come here to soak in the beauty nature has to offer!

Had a wonderful one night stay this Saturday (late September). Needed to reserve last minute campsite for a group of many first time campers, and they were very accommodating, and friendly. Bathrooms / Restrooms are CLEAN! Showers as well. Staff were so incredibly helpful and approachable and made sure to help us from the moment we stepped into the office. If you have time, make sure to visit the river shore and look up at a magnificent view of all the stars. Our entire group agreed that we would most definitely come back! Thank you Soaring Eagle!

Great location for tent and RV camping right on the Delaware River. The waters in the camp are excellent for trout, smallmouth bass, walleye and shad fishing.

Wonderful place to be. We had a lovely weekend and very beautiful experience at Soaring Eagle. The staff is indeed very kind and helpful. Would surely visit again.

This is camping the way it's supposed to be. Simple, honest, low tech, with minimal amenities but scenery so pretty it hurts your eyes. The owners are hard working, pleasant and accommodating but your comfort or lack there of will be entirely determined by your own preparation. There is no Walmart so you can run out for what you forgot or cell signal so you can Google a how-to. It's a peaceful, quiet place where camping is still camping and not just an outdoor hotel. If you're looking for kiddie pools, wifi and playgrounds, this is not the spot for you. If you're looking for a spot where you can't tell where the fireflies end and the stars begin, you've found it. This place is a country song.

We had a wonderful time at Soaring Eagle. The staff were friendly, camp sites were clean, noise was under control, and being right off the river is great. They have a van that takes you up the river for kayaking and tubing (floating cooler provided). We will be looking to come back!

Beautiful spot on the river. Not too big so not crazy loud like others up the river. Family run and very nice staff. No crazy loud music/parties and they have a curfew of 11pm that's monitored. The water taste likes sulphur so bring your own. There is one shower each for men/women so enjoy being stinky - hey it's your vacation you are allowed:)

This was a great campground, super clean and we'll thought out camp sites. Management was super nice. 4 hour rover trip was amazingly relaxing. Just above Woodstock, plenty to do and go see. Only advice is bring water shoes, river rocks are ankle busters if you're trying to barefoot or with flipflops.

What a hell of a night we had! Weekend started off ominous with the weather but it held off for about 24hrs. Once the rains came they never left and the family that runs the campground jumped into action to get everyone who had to get to higher ground. They where out there helping move campsites and I honestly can’t say enough great things about the family. See you next month even if there’s a monsoon lol

100% would go back to this camp ground. Staff was super friendly, campsites have great views and the bathrooms/shower were very clean. Could not recommend more! The river trip was the icing on the cake.

Absolutely wonderful experience. My family of 4 (wife, two daughters, and me) had an outstanding time. The staff is very flexible with dates, arrival times, and booking excursions (tubbing, etc) upon arrival. The bathhouse, while modest, is more than adequate. The office carries a wide variety of items (e.g. Gas, wood, can drinks, tents, blankets, etc.) should you leave something at home. And, they seem to care greatly about your well-being. When a storm came up quickly one afternoon, the owner and his wife went to each campsite checking on the residents to make sure they were safe. We will definitely be going back. With that said, we do have some recommendations: 1) Soaring Eagle lists Bridle Farm on their website as a place that one can ride horses. Our experience at BF was terrible. I would strongly encourage Soaring Eagle to review their relationship with BF. 2) A second bathhouse on the other side of the creek would be helpful. The porta potties were inadequate. 3) A coin-operated washer and dryer at the bathhouse would be helpful. Just suggestions. Again, we had a great time and look forward to going back.

We went on the river with 11 people (2 canoes, 1 tandem kayak, and 5 single kayaks). They handled getting everything set up and we had a great time.

We were a little worried after reading some of the negative reviews but turns out there was no need to worry at all. The sites were amazing and clean. The scenery was beautiful. They have vans that will take you up river and you can float or kayak right back down to the campsite. No tube? They rent tubes, tube coolers (very important), canoes and life jackets. The staff they have are super nice. We had an amazing time. I would recommend this place to anyone!

My family has been coming here for YEARS and it's the only campground we use at this point. It has everything:

- Waterfront spots with gorgeous views and easy access to swim
- Convenient water activities like tubing, kayaking, and canoeing
- Friendly staff
- Electric and water hookup
- You can have RV and tents in the same area
- Gorgeous views of the Delaware
- Spots that are private/tucked away and others that are more open-air

We love it here!
