They have a parking garage for $5 total

They handle all people from all walks of life with courtesy and patience - they don’t discriminate

They know the business of giving money to the people - and they refrain from beating silly all the complainers and confused people.

I think they do a great job.

It was hard to reach the SSA office by phone, so I completed a quick online application for what I needed and came to this office without an appointment.
I waited about 30 minutes (it was at 2: 30pm) and since I had already done a lot of the process online, the appointment took me just a few minutes. The lady that helped me was really friendly and helpful. I’m satisfied with my visit today!

Terrible service been waiting on my card for 2 months almost and trying to get on the phone with someone is a terrible experience and when i am on the phone with someone cant understand them or they just dont help at all find a different office or get a new staff at this one this is ridiculous

I had a 2: 30 p.m. Phone appointment. They called me at 10 a.m. I couldn't talk because I was at work. They never called at 2: 30. I called them, which took forever. She kept asking the same information over and over again which made me feel uncomfortable. I will now try a different office. This was a terrible experience.

If there is 0 ️ available that would be more appropriate. Not only did they lost my daughter's citizenship document they now dare to say they never had it even though without that paper they couldn't have send her new ss card, which they did.
This paper is worth a life and someone has to be held responsible for it! Also, 15 years ago in front of my eyes clerk wrote wrong place of birth on my son's papers, even though I filled out application with the country he was born in myself.
Clerk did it with assumption he was born in the same country I was born in, not looking at aplication but at my own documents. Had to point out that to her and she did correct it after I cought mistake at the spot, but also had audacity to ask me: " Are you sure? ", even though his birth certificate clearly stated where he was born as well. That was beyond unprofessional. So out of previous experience I am not surprised at all how they could have misplaced most important document that is beyond easy and very expensive to replace. We are all humans and do make mistakes but dishonesty and disrespect shouldn't ever take place at official place like this. So where do we go from here? I truly hope person who delt with her documents reads this. If you do, please come forward with the solution that shouldn't have taken place at the first time if job was done correctly.
With all do respect, but I lost my trust into office that our identity depends on.

Easy to find. Can oark on street if theres a space. Very welcoming. Enough staff to take care of clients.

The rep on the phone was shockingly rude. She refused to schedule an appointment for me and told me that she didn't have time to help me because there were 5 other callers behind me and her shift ended in 10 minutes. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told "no". Then I asked for her name and she hung up on me. What a way to treat a tax-paying citizen.

Extremely disappointed with how this office handled (or didn’t handle) my situation. Sent in paperwork & documents for a name change two months ago, and even though I sent my documents certified mail with a return address, they sent my new SS card to my old address (this address was not on my paperwork nor on my return address label). They have still not sent back my marriage certificate, PASSPORT or NATURALIZATION CERTIFICATE. I can’t get a new DL, leave the country, or provide proof of citizenship for a new job because my documents are missing and despite me calling dozens of times per day for 3 weeks now, I haven’t gotten through. Replacing these documents will cost me just under $1,000. The family living at my old address has me on speed dial now and hasn’t received anything else addressed to me since my new SS card was returned. Lives can be stopped or completely ruined due to the negligence of this office.

I am giving them 2 stars but its not just this location that is the problem. If we elect people who don't want to put money into public program or federal then this is what we get. No staff to support the population. Stop electing official who want to cut SS.
The people at the location are usually nice but you can tell they are overworked and don't have answers for a bunch of upset customers.

I just got off the phone with a wonderful agent. First, I called at 9: 00, my wait time was less than 3 minutes! All my questions were answered professionally and pleasantly. Documents, I requested were printed out while, iwas on the phone. The call ended at 9: 16!
After reading the reviews, i didn't know what to expect. He service was excellent

I was there to apply for a replacement Social Security card. Expectations was low, but do to my surprise with the help from Security Guard everything went extremely well

Calling that # is ridiculous, I want to talk to a human, I was put on hold, waited over 30 minutes. Can't even make an appointment to visit my local office.

They deliberately give you the worst experience possible and waste your time and try to get your credit card to park JUST to get an immediate SS card replacement for a gainfully employed tax paying Dauphin County resident. I tried to call but obviously they leave you on hold for hours, but I walk into the building and see 3 "guards" sitting down doing nothing, literally staring out into space. Dauphin county is insanely corrupt.
