We had an amazing 3 night stay to explore the Laurel Highlands area! It was like staying in a pristine museum with exceptional caretaking from breakfast, snacks, suggestions. Our host, Pat Hill & her crew, were very focused in details to make our stay memorable! We felt extremely cared about & highly recommend this place!

We stayed at a Grand luxury Bed & Breakfast in Scottsdale Pennsylvania called the South Broadway Manor a restored period home from 1904. The attention to detail was phenomenal! It's a wonderful glimpse of how the very wealthy lived at that time. One of a kind collectables and the art throughout the house was magnificent. They serve a delectable breakfast in the main dining room. Close to Fallingwaters and Kentuck Knob. Excellent stay!

Fabulous memorable stay while visiting Falling waters and enroute to a Wedding in Pittsburgh.
Pat was so accomadating and gave a wonderful history background of her beautiful B&B
I enjoyed a relaxing evening around the firepit with other guests and the next morning a delicious breakfast. Looking forward to returning to experience the expansion of this phenomenal property.

Excellent service, the breakfast is over the top super wonderful. If you pass on the breakfast you have missed half the charm of South Broadway Manor!

My husband and I stayed at the Manor for two nights for our one year anniversary and could hardly have been more pleased. Mike is clearly a hard worker and amazed us with how well he did EVERYTHING. The pictures don't do the place justice-especially the Victorian room, which is absolutely stunning. We had a scheduling mix up, which was quickly resolved. The breakfast is delicious and cooked on demand. We would recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting the area (or Ohiopyle, as we were)!

My wife and I stayed for three nights over Valentine's Day weekend and had an excellent experience. The mansion is immaculately restored and is worth a stay by itself. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the daily breakfast was first class. We used the Mansion as a base for day trips to regional sites like Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water and would highly recommend.

Pat's home is something out of a story book, rather, our WORLD HISTORY books!
Every room is loaded with stunning art, artifacts and historically accurate pieces of clothing from all over the world.
The architecture of the Manor is breathtaking and with every squeaky step you take through the corridors you find more and more peices of history that excite and ignite your taste for culture.
I highly reccomend staying here for the sheer experience of indulging in a taste of life focused on the very early turn of the 20th century.
You will be treated with the upmost respect and care as I know those who adventure to beautiful historic manors will also exude.
Indulge your intellect, excite your curiosity and book a quiet getaway to Pat's lovely home. To any adventurer, this is a dream come true.

Beautifully decorated with antiques and themed rooms, this Historic Georgian manor offers a rich history and modern amenities. It is an ideal place to rest and relax while enjoying the attractions of Ohiopyle and Fallingwater. Host Pat Hill is friendly, welcoming, and a professional hostess while also providing a top quality classic breakfast

Wonderful experience! Wish I could leave more stars! Beautifully restored mansion with so much history. The owners paid close attention to every detail and did everything the right way. The host was very friendly and helpful and had lots of stories to tell. Couldn’t have asked for anything more!

In a nutshell, South Broadway Manor is the best!

Here's the full story if you're interested: I went to Fallingwater for a girls’ weekend. We had a blast but as I was driving home, I realized my engagement ring was missing. I started to panic because I was driving and couldn’t look for it until I pulled over.so I called my friend who went on the trip with me to ask when she last saw it and I mentally retraced my steps the rest of the drive home until I could go through my photos to pinpoint the moment when I no longer was wearing it and carefully search through my luggage. I considered my muscle memory even and recalled that it felt like my ring was not on during our Sunday morning hike through Bear Run, but I recalled wearing it the day prior. My friend said she remembered seeing me wearing it at dinner on Saturday evening - I confirmed in a photo taken at the falls that I still had it on right before we left Fallingwater and headed towards the restaurant. But even still, it could have been at the gift shop, the visitor’s center, a walking path, the restaurant, the hotel or worse - the gravel parking lot at any of those locations.what a nightmare!

I tried not to freak out - I called Patty, the owner of the South Broadway Manor, to let her know what had happened. She was most empathetic - in fact, she and her entire staff were absolutely fantastic in their efforts to locate the ring! She even had the cleaning ladies going through the trash and they let the new guest of the room we stayed in know what had happened so they could keep an eye out for it. The next morning they went over the room with a fine tooth comb and even checked the washing machine that the linens were washed in.but sadly, no luck.

I called the restaurant and Fallingwater the next day to make them aware but no one had turned anything in and nothing had been found. I had only been wearing it for 3 weeks and thought I was being so careful with it.it was horrible to think I may never see it again so suddenly.

I got a call Monday afternoon from Pam, Patty’s sister, and she told me they did everything they could to find it but unfortunately it’s just not there. She said their neighbor has a metal detector so they will see if he could use that to help locate it in the gravel parking lot as a last ditch effort. WOW - they are SO AWESOME!

I continued about my day and later in the afternoon I received another call from Pam. She said, “Today is your lucky day! One of the boys (Terry) found it on his way to work this morning! I don’t have it in hand at the moment but he told Patty that he would return it when he got home. ”

Apparently it was found in the gravel by my friend's car and it fell off when we were taking things up to the room on Saturday night. The temperature had gone from the 90s during the day in Ohio to the 50s that evening in the Pennsylvania mountains which caused the ring to get loose. It wasn’t something I noticed either because I was carrying a bunch of stuff.

It was promptly mailed back home safe and sound (with insurance) and I have since added it to my homeowner’s insurance policy. I also bought a ring guard on Amazon which is a nifty little accessory that has helped to keep the ring on securely ever since. I also made sure to send the staff a little treat as a thank you present to express my deepest gratitude.

I cannot thank everyone at South Broadway Manor enough - they went well above and beyond the call of duty and I am eternally grateful to them! This was probably the best hotel experience I have ever had in my life! ️

I will be sure to come back and highly recommend this lodging accommodation to anyone traveling to Fallingwater / rural Pennsylvania. ️ In addition to the wonderful friendly service, the rooms are clean, well decorated and very peaceful.

I’m so pleased to share that this story has a happy ending!
