the best in York County. This was our
2nd time there and can't wait to return.

This place is amazing! It is super nice inside. The food and beer was outstanding. The waitress we had was fantastic. It's bittersweet it's kinda tucked away, but what a gem this place is.

Always had a delightful experience. Waitresses are very sweet and helpful. I've been to many microbreweries and South County is still our favorite. The food in York my last 3 visits was outstanding. Can't beat the atmosphere. We always make reservations, highly recommended. Most microbreweries do not have great food, or use food trucks. That's not the case here. Definitely consider it a nice restaurant too! Our friends came for the first time tonight and loved it.

Beautiful building and friendly service. Unfortunately the food was really bad with no flavor. For my kids and I to all simultaneously agree that the food wasn’t good is saying something. No kid options that I could really see either, and it’s pretty loud in there too. Understandable to a point since it’s a brewery, but my whole table wasn’t really feeling the idea of going there again. Was really disappointed as I was looking forward to trying this place too. If the food improves, would probably give it a second chance.

Great brew pub- clean, brightly lit, as some Brew pubs are dark and always INMO seem to be hiding something- peaked is huge, but somehow their is really no overbearing noise - a bit on the pricy side, however the food servings were proportionate to the pricing and quality- the beers are tasty and from some of the others that were in the group (17 in group) the liquor drinks were quite good also service was very good especially as our group was large -

The love that they put into their food was amazing! It was mouth-watering! They complemented their beer so good!
I highly recommend them if you enjoy great beer with some smoked food!

Loved the place, the looks, the food, the service and the prices. We'll be going back soon.

Dont brag about how great your brisket is if you dont know GOOD Brisket!
Beer was good and appitizers all great but BBQ was mediocre at best and the Brisket was the toughest, the only cutable pieces were the fat!
We had a group from Memphis, Teaxas, Kansas, Chicago all agree stick to the beer and eat elsewhere.
Waitress did a great job!

Everything was delicious! The portions were large and the atmosphere was wonderful. Will be returning again soon! Our waitress was very tentative and helpful!

Walked in at 11am with my Coffee and Ryan greeted my friends and I disrespectfully and said “you can’t bring outside drinks in here”! Our intention was on spending money on food and beer at South County. Service, beer and food was great, but realistically this isn’t a great approach for my first time at this brewery. He had one of the servers apologize for him but he never came up to us himself for an apology. Seemed like he was having a bad day, but greeting potentially new clients isn’t the best idea because you’re not in a “good mood”! Leaving a 5 star because everything about this place was great, just not the first 30 seconds after entrance!

If I was basing this solely on beer and atmosphere, five stars. If I was basing solely on the food when the location opened, one star.

Let me explain. We first visited on opening day. It's always a crapshoot.there are always kinks to work out, but the food was legit bad. I ordered a pizza that was basically a crust.minimal toppings. My wife ordered a French dip that was flavorless. About the only highlight (apart from the beer) was the fries.

We've returned several times (yeah.the beer is THAT good) and have tried the food a few more times. I am pleased to say that it has improved markedly. The burger is good, the Cubano is quite tasty.it's still not the best brewpub food I've ever tried, but I can appreciate the effort they've made to improve.

Now getting to the beer.this is probably my favorite PA brewery. Unlike a lot of the competition, they don't feel the need to introduce 327 new beers a week.instead they prepare quality brews that taste great and span most flavor profiles.

What a beautiful place. I don’t want to leave. I came here for the beer and was not disappointed. Excellent quality and variety. Food was delicious also. Was not planning on a mixed drink but finished my night with one of the best old fashioned I’ve ever had. BUT, it was the people that made this place the best. I could sit here all night with bartenders Joseph and Keisha who clearly love their jobs and enjoy each other. Refreshing to see. We’ll done.

I am extremely disappointed in our 2nd visit to this restaurant. The last time was great, which brought us back. Unfortunately we should have stopped at the 1st time. We waited well over 20 minutes until our server came. Had I known our meal was going to be as bad as it was, we would have left in the time we had to wait to just get drinks. We ordered appetizers, a pretzel and onion rings. The pretzel was cold, very little beer cheese. The onion rings had chunks of flour fried to the onion, as though it wasn't mixed thoroughly. My husband ordered the brisket and to be honest I didn't see any meat on the plate, just fat. Our waitress never came back after the first round of drinks. If she had I would've asked for a manager. The only time she came around was when I flagged her down to pay. Very disappointed. Was not worth the food.

I'm there to play poker on second floor. But food seems to be good, portions are great, view is nice. People who work are good. And very nice. Also very clean.
Would I go there again, on my own time with friends.

Really enjoyed our time here. We sat at the bar and the staff was very friendly. I love their beer and their food was really good. I got the shrimp po boy, my wife got the falafel and we shared a soft pretzel. All were delicious. I thought this place had a good vibe and there was plenty of room.

Sitting at the main bar, waiting over an hour for our food. Yes it’s a Friday night, yes they are very busy, but other people around the bar who came in after us have gotten their food. Pretty sure the waitress forgot to put in our order. Had good experiences here before, but after this, going to think about coming back anytime soon. Acoustics are awful in this place. They need to add some things to soften the noise.

Atmosphere, building and music were awesome. Service was adequate. Temperature was chilly for my wife. Food was horrible. Will not be back.
