I was so impressed with the SHL crew over the two day project they did for us. They were careful on the property, thorough in their work, and considerate and pleasant to interact with. Darren was great to work with throughout and was responsive, knowledgeable, and flexible with our scheduling needs. We went from this backyard eyesore to a beautiful outdoor space in less than a week! Darren and the South Hills Landscaping crew are professional, show attention to detail and deliver quality work. From the onset Darren and his team were very professional. Darren was very responsive, answered all of our questions and offered suggestions when asked. His workers were always on time, did what Darren said they would do and left our property neat and orderly. Our job consisted of a new retaining wall, front walkway and minor concrete work near our garage. This work was done in 1.5 consecutive days. I highly recommend Darren and his entire team.

Darren took our ideas and made them better. They revised our walkways, retaining walls, and driveway. His workers are skilled, courteous and neat. They even made a ramp so we could get to the street when there was no way out of the property because of the construction.

South Hills Landscaping did a fantastic job on my retaining wall. They are meticulous in their work, preparing the site to ensure a perfect outcome. The wall was finished within three days including hauling away old stone, brush, and mulching for a finished look.

Darren and his team at South Hills Landscaping was absolutely amazing! Our business had 20 years of overgrown bushes and trees around the building and in the front it looked like a rain forest. In just a few hours they had everything gone and cleaned up. They also did an amazing job removing and installing a new privacy fence. I thought it would have taken at least a week to do everything but the team showed up early and made sure they finished when he said they would so we could resume normal business. They completely revamped our building and we couldn’t be happier with the work they did.

I hired them to repair my old and complicated driveway. I chose South Hills Landscaping because of Darren's responsiveness, attention to detail to solving my driveway's awful unevenness, and the very reasonable price I was given for the extent of the work. This was a huge relief to me as I spent a great deal of time searching for a honest, local, and skilled contractor.

Darren's crew were a very professional, and skilled group. I wanted to shoutout Kurt because he was incredibly courteous, and the hardest working man I've ever seen. I will be needing some work on my retaining wall in the future, and will certainly be asking Darren and his crew to do that as well. Would recommend them to anyone!

I had the old driveways on a duplex redone and enlarged from one to two parking spots each, since the garages are too small to fit modern cars. I was very pleased with the process and the end result. Will use these guys again in the future.
