South Philadelphia Pediatrics

All five of my kids went to this doctor from 27 years old down to 18 months. Dr tapper is now retired, but Dr. Jodi Keefer is still there and the other doctor s on staff are always great. I have never had any problems and they have always treated my children Wonderfully and I'm very thankful that my biggest medical emergency with them was probably a couple ear infections and colds. My two grandchildren also go to the new office on Broad st. They always seem to get us appointments pretty promptly an I never have been turned down for a walk in when needed. They answer all my crazy questions and are warm and welcoming. Nurses and receptionist are always friendly and helpful as well. They must be doing something right if I've been seeing the same pediatrician for 20 plus years and I always refer them to people who need a pediatric Dr.

Doctors are all friendly and excellent. Front desk staff can be meh but are generally chill. Sometimes it's hard to get an answer on the phone. Shout out to NP Liz!

Dr. Parker is amazing. He is thorough, knowledgeable and really spends his time with you. My daughter has been a patient for over 2 years. We have always had great interactions with both the staff, nurses, and doctors.

The Doctors here are very knowledgeable. Seem to be somewhat friendly. Most of the staff is ok. Some can be rude. Clean office. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait.

This doctor has one of the worst administrative offices I have ever dealt with. No one is ever available to answer the phone and it is basically impossible to talk to anyone. Phone messages say you are calling outside of business hours when clearly not. The main doctors that work with my daughter are great but the front office needs a complete overhaul. They blame problems on tech problems, staffing shortages, etc but in reality they rather point fingers then correct a problem. Their coffee breaks seem more important than caring for the patients well being.

Being here after going to one of the hospital practices is like night and day. At SPP it's easy to get an appointment and there is rarely a wait, compared to an appointment at the hospital that felt like it took the entire morning. Doctors Busis and Kefer (and all doctors and staff!) are so friendly and great with the kids. They take the time to answer all my questions and I never feel rushed.

I am putting 1 star because of the treatment my husband and I continually receive from Dr. Jodi Kefer. As a medical professional you should aim to educate parents in a manner that doesn't come across as accusatory and condescending with every interaction. Unfortunately, this is the only way this provider has treated us each time we speak or when our children are seen by her. I will no longer allow my children to be seen by such an provider. Not only that, she put in a prescription for the wrong child twice! You would think she would get things done correctly the way she treats people.

I wish Dr. Guiney hadn't retired as her care and attention was always such a pleasant experience that we always looked forward too. We Also love when Loretta is there, she is always kind and I never have to worry about things getting done when she's around.

Dr Parker is THE BEST! We moved to New Jersey and still travel the 40 mins just for him.he is like no other doctor we have had for our kids. He is what a good caring doctor should be. All doctors should be like him. He talks to the kids, interacts and makes it a fun visit. My kids love him & look forward to seeing him. He is also not judgmental about any questions
you have or parenting style you’ve adapted.

We have a 6 month old son and the Doctors here have been fantastic. Especially Dr. Parker, we love him. He is very thorough and passionate about what he does. He takes his time to answer your questions and makes you feel comfortable even though we are overly concerned about everything new parents. South Philly Pediatrics will hopefully be our kids office for a long time.
