South Shore Apartments

We lived there for a little over a year and enjoyed living here until we moved out.when moving in had difficulty due to the pet policy being only one animal, and we had two, both ESA registered.after being told we’d be refunded the deposit and cannot live there, they were informed we cannot be denied renting us a unit due to the animals being ESA registered, and permitted to move in.our experience living there was wonderful, and connie and randy are both very kind and helpful, all request we put in for maintenance were addressed quickly, we thoroughly cleaned our apartment upon move out, gave over a 30 day notice, and we’re told we’d owe $120 for carpet cleaning if we would not clean it, so we knew we’d owe that upon move out.we were charged that fee, plus $630 to replace all carpet when they stated our animals had urinated all over it, which is very untrue, and they had no pictures to show us after we requested them, what they meant by this as well as every time they entered our unit, and just a month prior to us moving out for inspection, we were told how clean we kept our unit for having two animals.in addition, the carpets were not very clean upon us moving in.very sad we were charged to clean the old carpeting, then charged again to replace it.super disappointing they lied about why they needed to replace carpet, which should be done as needed for the units and not charging tenants.very upsetting we got $16 back.great environment to live around, but would not recommend this place due to how we were treated at beginning and end.
