Southside Commons, Bethlehem PA

I received a notice from a debt recovery company stating I owe $124 a year after I lived there. It is egregious what Southside is doing to its former tenants and I hope NO ONE decides to live here. The rooms are overpriced jail cells and you are better off living in a house.

To all my Lehigh students, DO NOT LIVE HERE. Do not make the same mistake I made.

I lived here 3 years ago and recently received a charge from a collections agency from southside commons. I did not owe southside commons any money and now I have a collections agency harassing me. In addition, when i called southside commons, they said they could not give me any information about it! Absurd management.do not live here

Unfortunately, I have a similar experience to others on here. I lived here for two years, I had a bill for damages for $220 after year one, by resigning I was told that this would not be charged. I lived here another year with no issues or damages or bills. Although I was never refunded my security deposit, that was not an issue to me. Fast forward three years later after hearing absolutely nothing, there is a collection agency harassing me and lowered my credit quite significantly. There was no notice of this bill until three years after it was issued. After calling corporate and the building, I was told there was nothing they can do and was spoke to extremely condescendingly. As someone who works in commercial real estate, this building is extremely poorly managed and they do not have a good handle on their invoices.

Got touched by a debt recovery office THREE years after I moved out! No notification in three years! If you want to be sued or threatened, please choose this apartment. You will enjoy it! By the way, this collection bill also reminded me cell size bedroom in the apartment. Real "enjoyable" experience here.

The apartment is nice and the amenities are great. The staff are very nice, especially Gabe, he is so helpful in the office.

Really nice and secure apartment complex with great amenities. Caroline at the front desk was extremely helpful on move-in day and we really appreciated her help - she went above and beyond!

Overall it is a good place to live for students, except there is no parking spot for new residents.
