Spanky's Breakfast & Lunch

As the sometimes crowded conditions attest, consistently good, though definitely not great food. Service is always great, prices are very fair. Bathrooms are below average, decor is interesting with license plates from around the world hanging on the walls. Nice mixture of tourists and locals during the warmer seasons.

My favorite breakfast spot! I absolutely love the cinnamon raisin French toast, it's the best! Coffee is always on point too.

Fun place to get some lunch. We stumbled on to this while on a road trip. Employees were great, food was really good. Prices are reasonable. Go there.

The waitresses were very nice and the place was cute and clean. However, the woman who was at the hostess stand was quite unpleasant, the food was average, and our order took almost an hour to arrive.

The potatoes on my sandwich were like he took a potatoes put it in the microwave and cut it up put it on a roll and some liquid cheese. It was gross and it tasted like egg. I hate eggs. Not sure if I will go back. I think I may rather my own cooking. Lol

The food was great. The service was prompt and courteous. Full menu that was priced just right. I will definitely return many times.

Spankys is a real home town, family owned resturant. The food is awesome, perfect portion sizes and they will always try to accommodate any substitutions you ask for. The wait staff are right on top of their game and always make you feel at home. Kids from 1yr old to 100 would truly enjoy this place!

The food was disgusting! Four different people ordered. Potatoes were cold, terrible taste. Eggs were not editable, French toast was cooked on one side. Will never go there again.

As a local of the lake I will say with certainty this is the best small town diner around. The breakfast is the best in the area

Good looking place, old and stylish, a lots of stuff running around pretty helpful, food on the other hand not what we expected, not good, not tasty, order was wrong and i noticed after placing an order that there's no prices on the menu!? We spent 45$ (not including tip) for 3 sandwiches with fries and 2 coffee's and we definitely not coming back, unfortunately.

Have been going here for 18 years and it's always been great. Love the setting and the little hometown feel. They gotna coffee mug wall where locals get coffee served in their own favorite mug. The breakfast is amazing and the scrapple is so good.

Driving through the area, my family stopped for breakfast here because of the good reviews. Everything we had was pretty bland. Nothing wrong with it, just not a ton of flavor to the omelette or potatoes. My son seemed to like his chocolate chip pancakes.

Food was cooked perfect. If your a regular you can keep a coffee cup there in a cubby like a coffee club. It's a great comfort food place that would won't regret going to

Friendly staff, attentive to small children, clean and fun environment. Went for breakfast with my wife and 4 year old daughter. Good menu selection but not overwhelming, always a plus with a small child. Farmer's omelet was fantastic, coffee strong and fresh. Will definitely stop in again.

Our normal breakfast spot was packed so we decided to try Spankys again, the first time wasn't great either. Able to get a table quick which was good. Waitress was ok, she didn't seem like she wanted to be there but no issues.

Food: Pancakes were kinda heavy and tasted like onions. I guess they use the same grill for onions and the pancakes, kinda gross. The potatoes are just potatoes smashed a little with some onions, no flavor; edible but boring. The eggs, again boring. We ordered an omelet and pretty sure it wasn't fully cooked and had some raw egg in the fold, so that wasn't fully eaten. Coffee was luke warm at best.

We won't be going back here. I'd drive a few miles up the road and try the grill in greentown or really any other place that has breakfast.

Great lunch at Spankys! Been dying to bring my boyfriend here because I knew he would entertained about all the licenses plates decor. What a perfect time to bring him here after finishing an 8k! Enjoyed the food, especially those gravy fries! Reasonable prices and overall great environment.

I’m from The Netherlands and I wanted to get a legit American breakfast. I got it? I loved the staff, the food, heck I loved everything of it. ️
