Spirit Halloween, Voorhees Township NJ

Associates and managers are poorly trained and lack customer service values. No explanation of when sales are final. No information was communicated that there are no exchanges on 10/28 when I purchased it on the 28th of October. Talking to the manager there was useless he responds saying “My employee didn’t do their job”. Yeah no s@&$.

Unfortunately I purchased a fog machine from the Voorhees NJ STORE. I didnt use machine until Halloween day. Long story short the machine didn't work. It just made a loud clicking sound and didnt produce any fog. I contacted the store and was told they dont do exchanges after 10/28. I asked, when a customer purchases a defected item u still dont exchange it? The representative response was " We don't do exchanges after the above date. I said your company doesn't have anything setup for situations like this? If I had purchased it on the 28th I wouldn't have been able to return it?
Needless to say they won't get anymore of my money. It's a good thing I tested the Peek a Boo clown before that date. I'll see what my credit card company will say.
If they don't except defected items after the 28th they shouldn't be able to sell anything after the 28th.

Employees here need better communication and people skills. I am so disappointed. It's the last day and I came in to buy a shirt I really wanted at half off. I need reimbursement for the gas I used to come all the way here! I come in and the two employees at the front are rude/snarky before I'm even past the second sliding door entrance. I was told any holds were put back. Ok? I put it on hold yesterday. The cashier said you close at 6pm. Give people a chance to come back for the purchase! I searched all over the store to see if it was put back in the wrong place or bought and finally found it in the housewares of the same theme. Wrong spot, anyway. I go to exchange and I can't because exchanges ended on Halloween? Again, excuse me for not reading signs in the store every single time I come in, but an employee told me I COULD exchange only-no refunds and I was literally just in the store. Then I was told people were returning things USED on Halloween. That's none of my business, bro! RUDE! Don't assume every customer is the same! That didn't apply to what I was trying to do. I have a sealed package I wanted to use as a credit for the shirt. Spirit Halloween can go somewhere, that's the nicest way to put it. Your store is a rip off anyway. I encountered one very nice employee in the Voorhees location, a black male with glasses. Y'all don't even deserve him! If you go out of business, I wouldn't be mad. Sorry not sorry!

One of the worst store experience ever, item had a price of $5.99 and cashier tells me it was wrong. Instead they would give me 20%off of the higher price. Which is ridiculous when you can’t offer ticketed price, and it wasn’t wrong price on one item.all the same item had a price of $5.99. Would never visit this store again!
