Can you believe you can buy a car online? ! I shopped around three dealerships looking for the best price and the most bang for my buck. NO ONE compares to the price and experience that I received from Spitzer BEFORE I EVER WALKED IN THE DOOR. Brian and salesperson Steve Watson helped me every step of the way. Not to mention they're the only Acura dealer that offers a LIFETIME national power train warranty at no additional cost. I MEAN COME ON. I had the pleasure of working with Steve Watson and it was a very positive experience. In the past, I have been to many dealerships and worked with many sales associates but Mr. Watson was by far the best. He was very knowledgeable, efficient, and had exceptional customer service skills. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience working with Chris and a the other folks at Spitzer. "Enjoy" is not a word I would have ever used in my experience with car dealerships before but these guys are different. There was no pressure and open and honest answers to all my questions. I was even given a tour of the facility and introduced to the service guys which I thought was a very nice touch. I highly recommend Spitzer and especially the sales associate that I worked with Chris Griesmer.
Just took my RDX in to schedule service and was pleasantly surprised that they took me right in, after a short time vehicle was fixed and cleaned and I was on my way. Very professional and friendly, I believe the manager I dealt with was Layne, sorry if this is not correct.
Chris was excellent helping take care of my wife and I as we got our first SUV. He helped us by listening to what we wanted, kept within our budget, and did not try to push anything on us in any way. He has been very courteous in following up with her in the last few days since the car's purchase. We are very happy with the service!
My husband and I were fortunate to have an excellent Sales Consultant, Mike Petro, at Spitzer Acura in McMurray, PA. From the minute we met Mike, he treated us professionally, he knew a lot about 2018 Acura RDX, when he did not know about a handful of things like extended warranty, its cost, transfer of warranty, etc, he was more than happy to find out whatever I asked. My husband test drove the car on a Friday, we needed time to think it over, but when we walked out, we said to each other "we have to buy the car here as long as we decide on an Acura. The next day I called Mike and worked out the color of the car, price details and decided to buy it on Mon.
On Mon morning, he had lot of things ready except for financing application, and a few things we needed to decide. Couple of days later he made a follow-up call and left a very nice message. We were so happy to run into him and not a different sales consultant, because Mike P is the best.
Also Benita Robson did a very good job and had all the paperwork ready with explanations for my questions.
All in all, it was a great experience.
I had a good buying experience with Spitzer. I like the no haggle policy they have. The downside was the extended warranty company they partnered with, at least back in 2014.
First Extended Service Corp has been a nightmare to work with and it reflects poorly on Spitzer's brand that they would promote such an unethical business.
Just bought a brand new 2017 Acura MDX from this dealership and Rob White and his great sales team had me in and out in an hour!
The service department is horrible! Completely unprofessional. Also, really read your bill. Services you did not request may appear.
Terrible dealer. We did buy a car from them but that's because it was the exact one we wanted and couldn't find elsewhere. The staff are rude and demeaning. They made us feel like we were beneath them. As we were reading the forms the employee rudely and sharply asked if we had a problem. We in fact did find an error in his calculations. They seem very shady. Go elsewhere.
We bought my 2014 RDX here. Our salesperson Bob was a joy to deal with and I highly recommend him, I wish I could say the same for the service department. Every time we have to take our vehicle in, it's always a hassle. Not the type of service I would expect from a more luxury line of vehicle, but once the service is completed everything is fine, it's just the process that's the annoyance.
Just bought a new RDX from Chris Greismer at Spitzer. Also spoke to John (GM) and Rob (Sales Manager) during the process, but not in the typical 'let me talk to my manager' scenario. They were all very professional, knowledgeable, engaging, genuine, and courteous. I'm not sure if they are a family-owned business, but they sure acted like one. I would HIGHLY recommend them.
There is nothing I could say bad about this dealer, they are great. They treat me and my 2004 MDX with 120K+ miles like I just drove off the lot last week.
OMFG, For adding 2 new break pads, they charged 550$.
$460 - is for labor and $85 - for break pads. Insane.
Have taken both my Acuras here for service before. If you need to book a loaner car you definitely need to plan in advance. But service was done quickly and I was on my way. The waiting area has some snacks and drinks and wasn't the worst place to be for an hour while my car was serviced. I have never purchased a car here so I can't speak to that, but the staff was friendly as I walked around while I was waiting.
