Splash Away Car Wash reviews
10Like the car wash except for when they pad locked the doors. Ever try to wash an extended Sprinter van with the door closed. Not easy. Guess Mr. Slatkey sold it.
Did this carwash get sold? Quality went way down hill. Bays are filthy, it's winter so it gets dark earlier and they don't turn the lights on anymore, can't put up the garage doors, and the soapy brush about half works. I've been coming here for years and they have lost my business with neglect to what I'm paying for.
After 1.5 mins, no soap was dispensed from the high pressure soap setting. Purchased a blue towel, machine said 2 towels and only received 1. Water pressure was above average. Brush washed car with lots of soap and soap didn't clean very well. First time visiting this location
This Spry location used to be great. I took my vehicle there regularly and was always pleased with the cleanliness of the bays and how well stocked everything was (soaps, detergents, drying clothes, etc.) It has really gone downhill over the past few years. I've been here three times in a row now, where barely any foaming soap comes of the foaming brush. It just squirts out water with a tiny bit of bubbles. It's so bad, I don't even use the brush anymore. The bays are filthy. I was in one that looked like someone degreased an engine (2nd bay in from the left-hand side). The concrete floor has black grease spots and streaks everywhere. When adding extra quarters to increase time, the machine did not credit the time. I tried to get the quarter to return and saw the machine was jammed with quarters at the bottom that would not come out. Needless to say, I cut my wash short, since trying to clean my truck much more was useless (less money for the carwash, since nothing works right). I was also in another bay first on this particular day (on a very windy day) and wanted to close the bay door. There was no rope, so I had to drive to another bay, which ended up being the one with grease everywhere. There used to be an older gentleman there who drove a newer beige full-size GMC truck who kept this place running well and very clean. I haven't seen him for ages. Now that he no longer seems to be around, this place has really suffered. I doubt I'll be back at this point. I routinely would spend $10.00 a visit but will now look for a place that at least ensures soap dispenses from their foaming brushes.
This car wash has reasonable prices and it really got my jeep clean from pollen and road grime.
One of the best self service washes to go to. Engine washing allowed along with the blow dryers to blow off the engine bay and car. Vacuums have both wide nozzle and thin nozzle to get in between your seats and center console. Favorite car wash spot in York.
I have never went to a car wash where I can not stop the vacuum cleaner. I will never return to this place ever again. I called the number that was on the door and The new owner wouldn't respond.surprise! What a rip off p o s car wash
A machine took my money but there was a number. I called, left a message and was promptly answered and reimbursed by mail.
This is a lousy car wash. Try changing the brushes out so when people wash their car they don't have to wash residue off the car left from the brush. You charge an arm and a leg and the cars are still dirty! I'll start going somewhere else rather then go to this dump!
(+) great water pressure and well lit property for night time visits.
(-) garbage cans always full, no carnauba wax and the air dryer is worthless. I could have blown through a straw to do a better job drying.
Even with the (-) I give it four stars.
