Not only did I have a great time on the Campsite, I also found the love of my life here. We met July 16th 2022 on camp. We will definitely be going back her and I in the future

This is great for families that like fun activities like a waterslide, a bounce pad, a big playground, volleyball, verious boat rentals, and a dragon wagon. This is a great place to stay for your camping trip.

My son and I spent 3 days here we loved every minute. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were plenty of activities. My son and I did the tye dye activitie for $10, shirt included. I thought that was pretty reasonable. The wrist bands helped out a lot bikes, paddle boats, bumper boats and golf. All free with the $27 wrist bands. The front office was well stocked with supplies. We will be back next year for sure. To see my son smile when he caught his first fish, was worth every penny. Again I want to thank all the staff.

Went with some friends for a long weekend. Check in was a bit rocky, as I had arrived late and the accommodation I had arranged with them was missing. However, the next day, Penny and Michelle from the main office did everything they could to make things right and to make the remainder of our stay smooth and enjoyable. Its a good place for family camping, and the evening concert was very good. Lots of biking for the kids and close enough to town for supplies. Overall a very good experience.

Very disappointed with our stay. We stayed in the dolphin cove cabin. To start with our reservations were suppose to be 2 weeks ago but we ended up with covid. When I called to cancel them I was given attitude because it was same day. BUT how am I supposed to predict COVID. They ended up postponing because they weren't giving us a refund. We were actually told if we want to come with covid that was our choice and i was appalled that I was told that so I asked to speak with someone in the office and they were nice enough to move our reservations but told me they don't normally do that and since we did that we will receive no refund if we have to cancel. The cabins are not cleaned between each use. They just restock the tp, paper towels, dish soap and change garbage. It was filthy, the water was tinted yellow from the tub, sink, and toilet. We bought wristbands for 26.50 each extra and was not able to use them for anything and of course no refund.the place is entirely to crowded. It is a money hungry camp ground. They will pack in as many campers, rv's, and tents as possible to just make their money. I was sick of telling my kids to get off the road while we were taking a walk because EVERYONE has a golf cart and they drive around all damn day blaring music. We realized the first night that camping there was a huge mistake because the golf carts kept going around until 1130-12 at night while we were trying to enjoy peace and quiet by the fire, but we couldn't because of the carts with LED lights shining in your eyes and the music so loud on them. I get having fun but what happened to the real meaning of camping? This was a free for all where rules only applied to certain people. We checked out a day early because we needed to get a shower and brush our teeth because we weren't using that disgusting water and not to mention the horrible beds.i honestly felt so dirty in the cabin.if you're thinking of camping here please don't we wasted over $600 for absolutely nothing. So disappointed.

RV OWNER'S BEWARE of the new resort manager, Loretta Johnston! Because of her we left after 2 1/2 years. She handled business after hours while being obviously drunk She was yelling and cursing at both workers and residents. The OWNERS needs to look into this. The other workers were told if they said anything, they would be fired. We have seen this done many times. The theft going on at the resort has also been really bad. Where is the security? There have been 14 cases of theft reported in Franklin County at the Pin Oak RV Resort over the past 4 months. These are big things- an attempted truck theft which resulted in major damage to the vehicle, 4 golf carts, 3 electric scooters and many bikes. Ms. Johnston doesn't want people to know what's going on, so she keeps the reports from being filed. She talks the tennants out of filing charges. The Assistant manager, Michelle, and myself caught 2 guys trying to break into the store. Loretta lets non-residents enter to wash clothes, take showers, play the games and swim in pool. I thought this resort was ONLY for families and their guests. The resort currently is poorly maintained. Without permission they stole from me $204.00, and I am still owed $680.00 for a 1 month deposit. My credit card wss used without permission! I wouldn’t stay HERE! Loretta Johnston takes advantage of people on fixed incomes -the disabled. Here are photos of some sites they rented out for months (pictures will be down below). We paid $680.00 a month. WOULD you stay there?
AGAIN, Loretta didn’t care, and thought that it was funny as she withdrew $204 from our bank account without permission telling me it was for 3 days of September rent (We had moved out BEFORE it was due.) and for items in the resort shop that were not purchased. RV owners BEWARE!

Me and my family came together. We bought wrist bands for there to be only half of the included activities of the wristband available. Also stuff closed earlier then they we supposed to. Hot Tub was colder then the family pool. It’s basically a 50/50 chance to get a nice employee, for example me and my cousins our ages 7-12 opened a gate at the bumper boats thinking it was pushed shut by the wind so we opened it, then a nasty employee comes over and threatens to cut of our $26 wristbands because we opened the gate. We still enjoyed the mini golf, pool, arcade, and ceramics and not all employees were mean some were very nice and helping. Will most likely not return.

We tent camped here. Super hot the entire time but the pool, bumper boats, and other activities were wonderful and kept your mind off the heat (or cooled you down). Very safe place, kids riding bikes and scooters everywhere. The arcade was fun for the storms that popped up and they offered other activities like ceramics in the mornings too! Would definitely suggest staying here with kids if they enjoy playing in water or socializing with other kids of all ages.

If I can give this place ZERO stars I would. The camp site was terribly dirty and disgusting, our water was brown our entire stay that the shower and toilet had brown stains. The smell in our cabin when we first arrived was TERRIBLE! The beds were so dirty and the pull out couch smelled SO BAD! Like wet dogs were put to sleep on it. You can tell they don’t clean the cabins the way they should be cleaning them before a new family arrives. Good thing I brought Lysol and Clorox wipes. The staff is incredibly rude for no reason. The only nice staff is the ladies in the main office. Rules only apply to certain people on this campground. If you are Hispanic or a person of color DO NOT GO HERE. The staff is racist and we’ve had encountered multiple incidents with them. Activities are limited due to “short staffing”. To ride a bike you need to put your site location, check in every hour and return them by 7 if not they will charge you for the bikes and go to your site and take them back. But of course this did not apply to WHITE people while multiple sites had bikes parked outside overnight! My niece which is 12 wanted to ride a bike but they gave her a hard time to get one because she didn’t have a helmet, but of course none of the WHITE kids had helmets. RACIST. If you have rules enforce them on EVERYONE! NOT COOL. The pool water for the kids was freezing cold but the adult pool was super warm which resulted in our kids getting sick. Overall it was a horrible experience, I would never go back. SAVE YOUR MONEY! RJ journey needs to DO BETTER!

Some disappointments, but overall a good little place. The cabin (magic lodge) we stayed in, looked way bigger in the photos and the lady on the phone made it sound bigger than what it was. Although upsetting when we pulled up to our cabin, we made it work (4 adults & 4 kids under 5) so it was a little cramped for the days that it rained and we couldn't get out of the cabin.
Cleanliness.the park itself was clean, but our cabin had spider webs & bugs in the corners of the rooms, the water had a yellow tint to it.must be some type of sediment in the water. They do supply everything besides linens which was nice. They do have the activities they list and even then some like ceramics and tye dying, a pool, mini golfing. A little run down looking, but overall it was a decent spot to stay for a few days.

My wife is asking for a refund for $224 due to a diagnosis of stage 4 cancer. We can not make it to our reservation. This has yet to be refunded.

We camped there last week and had a great time! We have a pop up camper so we had to be in the back down by the river which felt a little like we were out of the main activity of the campground but was honestly fine. We got around easily with our bikes. The river was fun to swim in. Loved all the activities and that most were open all week. I’m not negatives were our space was ridiculously tiny, and the bathrooms left a lot to be desired although they did clean them often. I don’t prefer campgrounds with golf carts, and it was annoying to have so many whizzing by at all hours but that’s pretty much everywhere. We will definitely be back? But we will pick a different spot next time.

Rented a log cabin on the pond. This was my 4th time staying here over the years but first time in this type of cabin. Many years ago I stayed across the pond and a few years back on the side (not sure the names of the units). Not sure if it was time or the unit but experience was not pleasant this time around. I’ll start with the positives, the staff was friendly, the best thing about this place is all the things for kids to do. You can let your kids go off and not worry.and they never get bored. There’s 3 pools, 2 fun water slides, mini golf, bumper boats, paddle boats, peddle carts, a huge playground, an outdoor movie, arcade room, ceramics, and a pond and river to fish in. My daughter spent hours playing manhunt and made new friends. There was live music on Saturday and they were actually a decent band. (They used to have a wagon ride that went around the park with a dolphin and dragon.when my kids were little, they loved it!) We arrived almost an hour early and lucked out that our cabin was ready.
Now for the bad. We arrived to mounds of dog fur and food particles all over the porch (looked as though cabin was swept out and not cleaned up). Ok.maybe they forgot, so I swept it up. The a.c. Was on but it wasn’t very cool inside. The unit also appears much bigger in the pictures. There was something greasy on the step so we went to get water to dump on it and the water was yellow. The refrigerator wasn’t very cold so I turned it all the way up and it kept my food.cold enough. There were little ants all over. I mean.they were crawling up the walls and on my belongings even in the bathroom. There were 3 crawling on me when I got home when I was putting my stuff away. It was unbearably hot in the upstairs sleeping loft area and I asked for the possibility of an extra a.c. So we can put it up there, they sent a maintenance guy to look at the one we had but my fiancé was not aware I asked and told him he didn’t know and the maintenance guy left. I asked them to send him back. 2 more times and no one ever came. Luckily we were only there 2 nights. The water issue is apparently a known issue throughout the park and it NEEDS to be addressed. I would stay here again for my daughter but only if the water issue was fixed. We could not even shower there. We weren’t told not to cook with it and didn’t bring extra water, we thought if we boiled it, it would be good, it boiled, and there were brown floaters all over and when it cooled, it all collected and settled to bottom.water got clear.but gross! So we had to go to a store to get water to cook with. At over 200$ a night. I definitely expected a lot more.otherwise I would have saved a lot of money and stayed in a tent. Kudos to those people, but that’s not for me, I like A. C.and clean water. The activity wrist bands are $26.50! I believe is a bit steep. The cabin could have used more outlets. There was one near the cooking area which the refrigerator was plugged into and it was on a wall where there’s no counter, I had my crockpot plugged in on a chair, had to unplug to use microwave, had to put coffee pot on the chair.just to reach the outlet. So if you stay in the log cabin, I would bring an extension cord maybe and definitely a fan for the upstairs.
My daughter had fun and my fiancé caught some fish in the pond so he was happy. The place is crowded but fun. I would come back only if water was fixed and I would try a different unit as I didn’t have these issues in the past.

We stayed in the Tubby cabin a few weeks ago. It was great - it accommodated 10 of us perfectly and we never felt like we were cramped. Unfortunately, we will not be returning due to the incredibly rude staff that we experienced over our short weekend trip. I have never experienced such treatment anywhere that I've camped before. We will never go back there again.

Was there for an open to public event. The staff was awesome. The pool was beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. The regional manager was nice and very professional.

Not even close to what they advertise. Our cabin was filthy and disgusting. We left early, ants all over biting my kids as they slept, staff is beyond nasty (except for a couple who were very nice) you have to push yourself down the water slides, lucky if anything was open but hey you got half off wrist bands… SHOULDA BEEN FREE. Pool was freezing, looks like a junk yard and I mean it really seems to be a junk yard/camp ground. The camp store closes at 5? Ice cream truck never opened once and the golf cart was ready collapse. Not to mention the bumper boats weren’t working. Idk how anyone thinks this is a “gem”…. What a waste of my time energy and money.
