Usually a very nice venue, but often the baristas are outright dismissive and rude. Last time I was there I got put off by their music, and the time before the barista was having a loud melt down arguing with the other person.

Great bagel shop! Fresh and tasty with lots of varieties. Great vehicle for our homemade gravlax!

Great Montreal style bagels that we picked up for a Christmas Day brunch. Tender, flavorful, and with a perfect crust from the wood burning oven. Would highly recommend.

On my visit to Philadelphia, the hotel did not have a laundry on site and had go off site. Came up on this spot close to the laundromat. It’s an amazing gem. You can get any bagel your mind could conjure and with great service. I had the plain sandwich which was nothing but plain with hot chocolate.

Used to come here a lot, almost every week. Lately (the past month or two) service has been really bad. There’s one person who, whenever they’re on the register, you know it’ll be at least a 15 minute wait just to order. Some staff have really bad attitudes, too. I stopped going after this one time recently I felt targeted and way worse leaving than when I entered. Food was good, it’s just not worth it. I’d rather just buy the ingredients and make it at home.

We always Enjoy great food and service. We just wish there was a Gluten free option as 25% of our family cannot eat here.

Honestly I used to love coming here. The staff were friendly and made the food with love. Unfortunately this past couple weeks the staff dealing with the iced coffees and register were being rude. Also they would work like they didn't want to be there. I'm a local and I love to support local restaurants but SPREAD needs to check on their team and how their customer service is being portrayed. You guys just lost a good customer!

I always stop in Spread during my monthly trip to South Street! My favorite is the everything bagel w/ nova salmon cream cheese & an iced coffee. The staff are so friendly, they bring good vibes and good service. Hope this place stays around for a long time!

Scallion cream cheese is the TRUTH. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. We were greeted at the door by what I assume was the manager. She was so kind and welcoming from the jump. Then Ashley hooked up the coffee and it was on point. Loved that we got to have a great conversation about her t-shirt. Lots of personality in this place and I felt like I was served by friends.

So far, the best bagel in Philly. I only say so far as I have not hit every bagel place, but no matter what, this is an well made bagel. Crispy outside, chewy inside and tasty. The veg cream cheese is good, but just unsalted butter is all you need as the bagel is a food unto itself. I have been in bagel purgatory for many years (Arizona and Oklahoma are not known for their food), so finding you has been a bit of heaven.

The staff here is so nice and fun. The barista Ashley was so friendly and we bonded over her awesome Dolly Parton shirt. Will be returning again and hoping she’s there to take care of me! 10/10 food btw

I know bagels and this bagel shop is as good as they come. The classic bagel with cream cheese and Nova lox absolutely delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

It's my first time visiting this location, and I'm happy I did! As my regular haunts were closed, I searched the city for a quick breakfast sandwich. I ordered an iced ginger chai coffee and an egg white sandwich. Both were mouthwatering! The bagel had a fresh flavor, and my sandwich was done in a flash. I'll most definitely return!
